Campers Paradise RV Park Reviews
This was a charming stop along Hwy 287 toward Fort Worth, TX. We stayed in our 45 foot RV towing our jeep and had a comfortable site with lots of room. The pool was fabulous and very well maintained! It was the perfect place to stop and get some much needed rest! We would stay here again!
Jul 01, 2025 · Terry MeyerWonderful people. We made a reservation for Friday night. 2 hours later we had to cancel. We were broke down on the highway. I called to let them know. They waived the Cancelation fee and wished us well. Hoping to stay there soon!
Jul 01, 2025 · Karen BarfieldOur experience at Campers Paradise for the 5 months we were there was fantastic! The laundry room is always clean, free of pet hair, and lint trays are always empty (Thanks Lori!). The staff is amazing, and they quickly became our friends! The community at Campers Paradise is unlike any other campground we have been to. There are monthly events like game night or hot cocoa night to name a few. There are often bible studies as well so if you are looking to find community, get to know your neighbors, and build friendships; Campers Paradise is the campground for you!The campground is situated between Decatur and Wichita Falls (if you are looking for bigger shopping), and is only a few minutes from the basic amenities in Bowie. Campers Paradise also has an RV necessities convenience store (and it has been extremely convenient!). It is nice to be outside of the city, but being right off of 287 also makes it easy to get to wherever you need to go!Miss y’all CP staff! - O & E
May 12, 2025 · Jayla CohenWe booked a quick overnight stay at this park. Unfortunately, I let someone else put the directions in the gps and wasn’t paying attention. We went to the wrong place and pulled straight into the site number I had written down. The other place was sketchy and our travel trailer didn’t fit. I called way past closing time and Seth answered the phone and helped us out. He realized we were in the wrong place before we did. I was so glad he did because we probably would have stayed in the wrong campground otherwise 🤦🏽♀️ anyway, he didn’t need to answer our call after hours or help us out so in my mind that is worth 5 stars alone. The bathrooms are older but were extremely clean and the WiFi worked good. I would definitely stay again if I was in the area.
Jun 04, 2025 · Christen WencesWe lived here in our camper for 6 months while our home was being built nearby. We loved our stay there! Super friendly managers and neighbors. The rv store, laundry room, on site propane was great. We highly recommend this gem!
