Jun 14, 2025 · Roger NelsonThis campground is AMAZING! The staff is GREAT! The owner is AWESOME! It is a very well run campground. It is very clean & quiet. The restrooms & showers are spotless. They have lots of events up by the restaurant & activities for the children. Halloween is the whole month of October & the 4th of July is amazing with fireworks. This campground is family oriented. I enjoy spending time here every year.
Dec 16, 2024 · Aleta SnippeChecked it out it has 127 spots for campers. They have two pools one wading and the other swimming. They also have nice showers and restrooms. They have horse shoes pit, basketball courts, volleyball nets, beanbag toss, animal pen, and a fishing pond (catch and release) the spots in the camp ground are very clean. All of the sites have a cement slab so you don't need a rug. All of the sites have a picnic table. They have a lot of pull throughs.the place is very nice and I'm planning on vacation there yet this year and maybe next year. The Turkeyville restaurant is out front. The drive for the campgrounds is a dirt road on the right side of the restaurant. On holidays they usually have something special like flea market, outdoor music by restaurant, miniature train rides next door donation only Michigan railroad club Thay have added probably 75 or more new sites for long term camping also another shower,Landry area.
Sep 22, 2022 · John PrestonWe were seasonal this past summer. Had a great time. Able to walk up to the barn and see the animals. My grandchildren loved visiting. There is a childrens splash pad and then a deeper pool. Our granddaughter learned how to swim this summer. I'm sure she will remember this campground all her life. We picked this area because we had stayed here before and enjoyed it. There was one difficulty during this stay. We did not know that the community can swim here. There is a fee for this, but we saw people taking advantage of them. By not paying, just sneaking in.The grounds are keep trim and groomed. It is done in such a way you don't realize it's being done. The area has plenty of room for hiking, or flying a kite. There are craft markets on the weekends. Plus the local train company have laid down tracks. You can ride the big train on the weekend. For a small donation. There are wild turkeys that wonder around the barn. Pigs, cows, goats and a donkey. The grandchildren loved being able to touch them. They have a big Halloween time. Hay rides, pumpkins, trick or treat thru the campground.
