Camelot Mobile Home Park Introduce
For residents across Oregon's Willamette Valley, particularly those in the Albany area, finding an affordable path to homeownership that doesn't compromise on location or community feel is a high priority. **Camelot Mobile Home Park**, situated in Albany, Oregon, provides a compelling housing option within the manufactured home community sector. This park is recognized as an appealing community that offers a stable and relatively quiet lifestyle with essential utilities included in the monthly space rent, making budgeting simpler for Oregon families and individuals.
Camelot Mobile Home Park is known to be an **all-age community**, meaning it welcomes residents from all stages of life—a factor that makes it highly desirable for growing families, young professionals, and those who prefer a mixed-age residential setting. The community features a variety of homes, many of which are modern double-wide units, and is noted for being one of Albany's highly sought-after parks due to its location and established reputation. Homes within the park often feature desirable amenities such as forced air heating, covered decks, and some even include two-sided fireplaces, providing comfort comparable to traditional housing options.
Community atmosphere is a mixed but important consideration. One resident review highlights the positive aspects, stating that the park "Was very nicely maintained. Feels safe and not creepy. Residents seemed friendly." This suggests a generally positive living environment where property upkeep and a friendly neighborly demeanor contribute to a comfortable lifestyle. However, as in any community, occasional interpersonal conflicts can arise, and a separate, isolated incident recounted by a visitor described an unpleasant encounter with an individual resident's behavior, which is a necessary part of the public record but should be balanced against the overall positive assessment of the park’s maintenance and general atmosphere. The management’s role in ensuring civility and enforcing community rules remains a key factor in the resident experience.
The affordable nature of the space rent, which frequently includes several key utilities, is a major draw for Oregonians looking to lower their monthly expenses without moving far from the Willamette Valley’s economic and cultural centers.
The park is nestled near open fields and surrounding farmland, which grants many homes tranquil **territorial views** and a relaxing, country-like feel. This is a significant feature for Oregonians who appreciate the state's natural beauty and desire to escape the immediate density of city life.
- **Commuter Convenience:** The location provides an easy and desirable commute to both **Corvallis** (home to Oregon State University) and **Lebanon** (a major healthcare and industry hub). This is especially valuable for those working in the healthcare or education sectors.
- **Local Access:** While providing a country feel, the park remains close enough to Albany's main arteries to ensure that grocery stores, dining, and other essential services are just a short drive away.
- **School Districts:** The community is typically served by the West Albany High School district, a key consideration for families with school-age children.
- **Major Routes:** Proximity to major roads ensures residents can quickly connect to Interstate 5 (I-5), the primary north-south corridor, facilitating travel to Salem, Eugene, and Portland.
The balance between its beautiful, farm-adjacent setting and its convenience to major Central Willamette Valley employment centers solidifies Camelot as a practical choice for Oregon home seekers.
- **Inclusive Utilities:** A major financial benefit is that the monthly space rent often includes crucial utilities such as **water, sewer (managed septic tank), garbage/trash removal**, and sometimes **basic cable**. This simplifies monthly budgeting considerably.
- **Professional Management:** Dedicated on-site or local management is responsible for the overall maintenance and administration of the park, including ensuring rules are followed and community standards are upheld.
- **Common Area Maintenance:** Professional upkeep of the shared areas, including roads and common spaces, ensures the park remains "nicely maintained" and presentable for all residents.
- **Utility Infrastructure:** Management is responsible for the maintenance of the park's community well and septic systems, which are vital pieces of infrastructure for the property.
- **On-site Storage:** Many lots feature separate storage buildings or outbuildings/workshops (e.g., 10x16 workshop noted in a listing), offering residents additional space for hobbies, tools, and personal belongings.
- **Highly Sought-After All-Age Community:** Camelot is recognized as one of Albany’s desirable parks and, crucially, is an **all-age community**, providing a welcoming environment for every demographic, which is not always the case with manufactured home parks in Oregon.
- **Exceptional Value Proposition:** The low, affordable space rent, combined with the inclusion of major utilities (water, sewer, garbage, and basic cable), provides residents with significant savings compared to traditional home rentals or mortgages in the Willamette Valley.
- **Country Living with Territorial Views:** The park’s location adjacent to open fields and farmland offers a serene, country atmosphere and beautiful territorial views, a calming benefit for residents returning home from work.
- **Well-Maintained Appearance:** The community is consistently described in public feedback as "very nicely maintained" and visually appealing, contributing to a sense of pride among homeowners.
- **High-Quality Manufactured Homes:** Units within the park are often modern, double-wide homes featuring significant living space (e.g., 3 bedrooms/2 bathrooms), dedicated parking, and amenities like covered decks and gas forced-air heating for year-round comfort.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I came to meet a lady who i was to buy some furniture from that lives in this park. I went to pull in behind the house which had some road work going on. I was not interfering or in the way by any means. I then not even allowed to leave my vehicle to go and speak with the lady I was there to see. I was instead approached by an old man who proceeded to yell at me to get off his property. I attempted to talk and explain why I was there. His response was I don't care get off my property and proceeded to spout profanity at me. I left peacefully. If this is how a business is ran for a living center. Im truly sorry for those who live there
