Brookside Mobile Home Park Introduce
For Nevada residents seeking an affordable, stable, and conveniently located housing option in the thriving Reno area, Brookside Mobile Home Park offers a compelling choice. Situated in the desirable South Reno region, this community provides the unique opportunity for low-maintenance homeownership on leased land, making it a viable alternative to the city's rapidly increasing traditional housing costs. The park has been family-owned and operated since 1998, a tenure that suggests stability and a consistent management philosophy.
The sentiment among long-term residents highlights the positive aspects of life within the park. One resident, having lived there for 12 years, expressed satisfaction, stating, "I am pleased to say we have a very honorable owner who appreciates all of us in the park." This dedication from the ownership is a significant factor in creating a supportive community. Furthermore, the strong social fabric is evident as the resident noted, my neighbors are great. This kind of friendly, close-knit environment is a prime feature of manufactured housing communities.
The park is noted for its high standards of physical maintenance. Public records and professional assessments confirm that the property is clean and well-kept with units that appear to be very well maintained, reflecting the "pride of ownership" apparent when walking through the park. Brookside is generally a 30-space mobile home community, a smaller size that often contributes to a quieter, more manageable neighborhood feel compared to much larger developments.
However, prospective residents must be aware of reports regarding communication and application procedures. One negative review noted difficulties, stating, There is no office so the only way to contact him is through email or phone number, and he doesn't respond. Another critical point raised a concern that the park was breaking several NRSs (Nevada Revised Statutes), a serious accusation relating to state-mandated mobile home park regulations. The key takeaway for Nevadans is the absolute necessity of thoroughly vetting the application process and understanding Nevada's mobile home owner rights (NRS 118B) before committing to a purchase or lease.

Brookside Mobile Home Park Reviews
I have lived at Brookside Mobile Home Park for 12 years and I am pleased to say we have a very honorable owner who appreciates all of us in the park. The park is close to shopping and my neighbors are great. Love the location.
February 17 · Nancy BarilWe feel discriminated against, period. Daughter applied to live at this park and was denied for no reason. There is no office so the only way to contact him is through email or phone number, and he doesn't respond. Plus the real estate agent almost completed the home-buying process before my daughter was approved, meaning she would have bought the house but then have to move it. Park is breaking several NRSs.
April 06 · Michelle BrecknerSpace rent went up from $550 to $625 in May 2022. In the same letter they let us know that rent will go up to $750 on Sept 1, 2022. No pool, no clubhouse, no improvements so far. The new owners or property management didn’t pay water/trash, so trash pick up was missed two Tuesdays in a row.
July 11 · Susan OakleyNice, quiet park. Putting in an offer on a beautiful home.
August 02 · Corey FogalDid not stop in but will be living there.
