Breezy Oaks RV Park Introduce
For RVers in Texas, the desire for a diverse range of camping experiences is always present. While some seek sprawling resorts with extensive amenities, others prioritize a simple, functional, and ideally located spot that serves as a comfortable base for their adventures. Breezy Oaks RV Park, situated in Sabine Pass, Texas, falls squarely into the latter category, offering a straightforward, full-hookup solution particularly appealing to those with a passion for nature, especially birdwatching.
Breezy Oaks RV Park is not about flashy amenities or manicured lawns. Instead, it offers a practical and peaceful setting, perfectly positioned for those who value proximity to natural wonders over resort-style luxuries. This gravel and grass park focuses on providing the essentials: a place to park your RV with necessary connections, allowing you to immerse yourself in the unique coastal environment of Sabine Pass.
The park's unique charm is often highlighted by its owner, described as a "colorful, pleasant lady who has weathered several hurricanes." This resilience and the personalized, friendly approach contribute to a welcoming atmosphere for guests who appreciate genuine hospitality. Breezy Oaks RV Park understands its niche, catering directly to those who know what they need for a comfortable stay and are ready to explore the rich natural tapestry of Southeast Texas.
Breezy Oaks RV Park is located at 10685 S Gulfway Dr, Sabine Pass, TX 77655, USA. This address places it directly on County Road 87, a significant route along the Texas coast. For local Texans, its location is a key highlight, especially for those interested in the natural beauty and outdoor activities characteristic of this region.
The most notable aspect of its location is its direct adjacency to the Sabine Woods Audubon birding site. For birding enthusiasts, this is an unparalleled convenience, allowing immediate access to one of the premier birdwatching locations in the state. This proximity means you can be out spotting migratory birds within moments of stepping out of your RV.
Sabine Pass itself is a small, historic waterfront town on the border of Texas and Louisiana, known for its industrial significance and its natural attractions. While Breezy Oaks RV Park offers a quiet escape, it remains connected to nearby communities. Port Arthur, a larger city, is within a reasonable driving distance, providing access to more extensive shopping centers, diverse dining options, and essential services like grocery stores and medical facilities. This balance allows visitors to enjoy the tranquility of Sabine Pass while still having urban amenities within reach. The straightforward access off County Road 87 simplifies arrival and departure for RVs, making it a convenient stop for travelers exploring the Gulf Coast.
Breezy Oaks RV Park operates with a clear focus on providing fundamental services essential for a comfortable RV stay, particularly for those who are largely self-contained. The park keeps its offerings streamlined, ensuring that guests have the core necessities without extensive additional facilities.
- Full Hook-ups: All operating sites at Breezy Oaks RV Park provide full hook-ups. This includes connections for electricity (with both 30-amp and at least one 50-amp site available), water, and sewage. This is a crucial service, allowing RVers to utilize all their onboard amenities without needing to frequently move for dumping or refilling.
- Gravel and Grass Sites: The park features basic, level sites that are a combination of gravel for parking pads and grass for outdoor living space. This provides a natural and comfortable setting for your RV.
- Five Operating Sites: Breezy Oaks RV Park is a small, intimate park with five dedicated operating sites. This limited number contributes to a quiet and less crowded environment, appealing to those who prefer a more personal camping experience.
- Affordable Daily Rates: The park offers a competitive daily rate, making it an economical choice for short-term stays, especially for birders or travelers passing through the area.
It is important for prospective guests to note, as highlighted in customer reviews, that Breezy Oaks RV Park does *not* offer additional facilities such as laundry services, restrooms, or showers. Guests are expected to be self-sufficient with their RV's onboard facilities.
Breezy Oaks RV Park, while basic in its amenities, possesses distinct features and highlights that make it a compelling choice for a specific type of RVer, particularly those drawn to the unique environment of Sabine Pass.
- Unbeatable Location for Birdwatching: The absolute top highlight is its direct adjacency to the Sabine Woods Audubon birding site. For avian enthusiasts, this is a prime location, allowing for immediate access to excellent birding opportunities right outside the park. It's often described as "your place" if birding is your primary objective.
- Peaceful and Quiet Atmosphere: With only five operating sites, the park offers a very quiet and uncrowded environment. This makes it an ideal retreat for those seeking tranquility and a break from the hustle and bustle often found in larger, busier RV resorts.
- Friendly and Resilient Owner: Reviewers consistently praise the owner, describing her as a "colorful, pleasant lady" who is friendly and courteous. Her experience in weathering several hurricanes speaks to her resilience and dedication to the park. This personal touch can significantly enhance a guest's experience.
- Full Hook-ups on All Sites: Despite its rustic nature, the provision of full hook-ups (water, sewer, and electricity) at every site ensures that fundamental RV needs are met efficiently, allowing for comfortable living within your own rig.
- Affordable Pricing: The daily rate makes it a very budget-friendly option for those traveling through or staying for a few days to explore the local natural attractions without breaking the bank.
- Natural, Un-groomed Setting: For those who appreciate a less manicured, more "back-to-nature" feel, the gravel and grass sites offer an authentic outdoor experience, blending seamlessly with the surrounding coastal landscape.

Breezy Oaks RV Park Reviews
We have a 2002 Bounder 39Z diesel pusher motorhome. This is a basic, gravel and grass RV park with five operating sites - One 50 amp and I think the others are 30 amp. No other facilities. No laundry, restroom, shower, etc. - just the 5 sites. It's located on County Road 87 adjacent to Sabine Woods Audubon birding site. The owner is a colorful, pleasant lady who has weathered several hurricanes and reacts well to people who are friendly and courteous to her. Full hook-ups. The electrical connections are rusty but functional. If you are a birder with an RV who wants to visit Sabine Woods (as my wife is) , this is your place. $25.00 per night. If you are looking for nice, well groomed facilities, continue south to Sea Rim State Park.

Jun 25, 2022 · J. W. LoweWonderful place to stay, away from traffic and very safe. Friendly and helpful owner. This place has incredibly reasonable rates.A lovely mocking bird sang to us the whole time we were there. It is 5 miles from Sea Rim State Park and 5 miles from Sabine Pass Battleground Historical State park. Both are great places to crab and fish!

May 29, 2019 · Susan MilamCame down for work and only stayed a week because the job was over. I paid for a month and wasn't going to ask for a refund but when I call the lady said I'm not getting a refund. Look I wasn't gonna ask for one but assumed that I was and she was rude about! Mosquitoes are the worst I have ever seen em. You don't get any signal for phone or tv. You are out in the middle of no where! I would never stay here again or recommend anyone to stay either!!!

Sep 05, 2016 · Conservative 101Highly disappointed in the communication with Billy Taylor. We had reached out to her a few weeks ago to reserve a spot and were confirmed for a long term stay due to work in the area -- when we called to let her know when we were arriving, she informed us that she gave our spot away. She was extremely unprofessional, resorted to name calling, and she proceeded to call us "sick" because we let her know she was not a woman of her word nor did she communicate she was "giving" our spot away AFTER we had secured it with her. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!!!
