Blue Water RV Resort Reviews
This RV resort was amazing! We loved the fact that there was unobstructed beach access directly across the street, the canal was on the property where we could fish, there were drinks delivered every afternoon to our campsite, and a store on site. Jailee was an amazing host! She seemed to be able to do it all - from running the office during the day to becoming the bartender and booze cruise drink deliverer in the evenings! The drive is about 40 minutes into Downtown Galveston, but we loved that we were away from all of the hustle and bustle and could feel more relaxed with a quieter atmosphere. The only issue we encountered is the water. My family and I were unable to use the water out of our faucets for drinking purposes and it left a horrible residue on all of the dishes/dog water bowls. Even with our double filtration system on our camper and a water filter tank that I use inside the refrigerator, we were still unable to drink it. I’m not sure if it was due to salt or other chemicals, but it was definitely a difference where we couldn’t stay hydrated. About three days in of our stay, we bought gallon jugs of water and bottled water, and it made a huge difference - that’s when we really noticed the differences! Overall, we will definitely be back! It was a wonderful experience other than the issue with the water and we can always bring in water next time!
Jul 01, 2025 · Megan SudbeckWe had a great visit here! I love the access to beach, but also the pool. We got a site with a fire pit and a cover over the picnic table which was really nice. The showers could use a little extra water pressure. For someone with thicker hair, it look a long time to rinse the shampoo out. But the bathrooms were nice. There are some fire ants so just watch out if you’re in the grass. It’s definitely a place we would visit again!
Jun 19, 2025 · Jackie FryerAmazing stay at Blue Water RV Resort. Location was amazing (were on the canal side) and we enjoyed the fishing right from site. Caught some crabs and fish. Facilities were clean and easily accessed. The staff/location kept everyone informed of events happening via text message including an ice cream social, food truck, and drinks from the golf cart. The quick walk across the street for gulf access was perfect.Would highly recommend and if visiting Texas again, will gladly stay.
May 29, 2025 · Teresa CoppesBeach is directly across the street. This is a really long RV park. You can drive on the beach. We booked a Super Site close to the front. We walked to the beach with our little wagon. No Problems. We were able to ride our e-bikes on the beach quite a ways as well. Lots of restaurants around. Our site had a thatched roof cabana and picnic table. Looks like there was a grill at the site at one point, but not now. At the site is a large structure in addition to the picnic table we used our Blackstone griddle each day. One thing to note, the sewer dump is close to the front of the site, We had to pull in all slides, raise jacks, etc. Do dump. There is a pool towards the back of the park with covered tables and chairs. Pool is small and could get crowded. Overall nice clean park. One side of the park has a canal for fishing, etc. Notice if you are not on that side, you are not allowed access to the canal in the park. No problem, however the RV park does text through out the day with activity times, etc. We got a text requesting guests not walk through sites to the canal that were not theirs.
