Blue Sky Cedar Creek Lake RV Park Reviews
I can’t say enough about the amazing staff at Blue Sky. This is the second year our camping group has gathered at Blue Sky for a spring rally. Tonya, Jade, Alexis and Kristen went above and beyond to make sure our weekend was filled with fun activities. Their attention to detail and dedication to our group was top notch! Can’t wait to do it again!
May 05, 2025 · Shelly RodgersWe held our Texas Sojourners club rally this past February 27th /March weekend at the Blue Sky Cedar Creek Lake RV Park. It was fantastic. The resort offered sought after and enjoyable facility attractions and activities including multiple game courts, a picnic/grill outdoor area, a dining/assembly room, a huge kitchen facility, a game room and even a cinema auditorium. If it hadn’t been so cold, I would have tried out the pool, it looked so inviting. The resort shop carried attractive and useful items and snacks of which we tapped. Bath areas were charming and well-maintained, as were all areas of the park. Most pleasing were the resort staff, their custom-made welcome of and interactions with our club members, their unpretentious courtesies and assistance, and absolutely, the resort’s well-designed and supportive rig sites. We are wonderfully pleased with our visit, and are sure to return.A heartfelt “hats off” to Blue Sky RV Park at Cedar Creek Lake,Jean Hampton, 03.04.25
Mar 04, 2025 · Jean HamptonThis was our second time here. Our first was when they first opened and I loved it just as much this time. They have made some great updates with the amenities such as pickleball courts, basketball courts, and corn hole usage. For the memorial weekend, they had a cookout, craft and activities for everyone and movies at night. My teenagers even had a great time.
May 28, 2025 · Becky TateOur camping club held a rally here in May, 2025 and our members were very happy here. The clubhouse with full kitchen was great. We had lots of room with plenty of seating for our meals. The theater with theater seating was a wonderful bonus to include freshly popped popcorn. We had a pickle ball class for our members using the 2 pickle ball courts. We walked over to the Brewery for a group meal. We plan to have another rally there next year. I recommend this campground and shout out to Tonya and campground staff for taking great care of our club. We really appreciated your helpful attention.
May 18, 2025 · Lisa McCullar-PumphreyWe recently stayed at this RV park for four days and unfortunately, I wouldn’t stay here again. While the park is very large and truly has great potential, it’s mostly filled with full-time residents who are scattered throughout the property rather than grouped in a designated area. This creates an overall run-down appearance with many RVs looking old and broken down, some covered in tarps or sporting window units hanging out the sides.Landscaping is clearly not a priority here. The grass and weeds were at least 12–18" tall at nearly every site, except for a handful of full-time spots where the residents appear to maintain their own area. During our stay, we never saw a single employee working on the grounds—no one picking up trash or tending to any upkeep. The park has a large building that houses the camp store, event center?, and what they call a "theater." Realistically, it’s just a 50" TV on a wall with theater seats—not what I’d consider a theater at all. The building itself is more of an eyesore than a focal point, and there’s no signage anywhere on the property, which made locating the office (tucked in the back, in a portable building) a confusing experience. The RV sites themselves are a strange mix of cement and gravel, split right down the middle. Unless your camper door is at the very front, you’ll be stepping into overgrown grass and weeds every time you go in or out. Having half your camper on slab and half on gravel just felt odd and poorly planned. On a positive note, the Wi-Fi worked decently, and Verizon service was strong with 4 bars of 4G. While the athletic courts and pool area was very nice, the over grown jungle surrounding it, growing up through the corn hole boards and community fire pits ruin this area!As for the city of Seven Points—honestly, it's in very poor condition. The town is up kept as well as this park -- The City Hall building looked abandoned, with tarps draped over it and parts visibly falling apart. The whole area felt run down. Nearby cities were noticeably cleaner and better maintained, with more businesses and amenities. All in all, this park could be something great with proper management and upkeep—but as it stands now, I’d recommend staying elsewhere.
