Big Pines RV Park Reviews
This place is absolutely fantastic. If no one told you you were right in the center of town, you'd never know it. There is lots of space between campers and camp spaces. The camp hosts are very helpful and nice. The whole place is very serene and the facilities are fantastic. We will definitely be back. We are writing this review as we sit in front of our campfire for our last night here.
Jun 01, 2025 · John MFirst impression when we drove up was it was very pretty and peaceful. But it was a different check in process. The lady was sitting on the deck outside the office and didn't ask or name but said what site we were in. She took us to the site and helped us back in. I asked if I needed to go to the office for any information etc. She said no and drove off. It is my fault for not insisting that we go to the office. We were given no wifi code, we had no idea where bathrooms and showers were, no idea where trash went, nothing. It appeared that almost all of the RVs were either permanent or seasonal. We figured since we were one night it wasn't important for them to make sure we had all the information needed. That was definitely a first for us. We had to go walk around to figure things out. Our site was right in the middle of a group that st right outside our trailer and loudly carried on conversations until after 11 pm. There are several trailers that had for sale signs on them. Had we known that everyone was seasonal, we would have stayed elsewhere.
Jun 16, 2024 · Donna SmithOne of the best campgrounds I've stayed at. It has the best bath/shower setup I have ever seen and the seasonal campers are really friendly, which you don't always get. Absolutely beautiful property! Will be going back again and again.
Jul 31, 2023 · Darin AndersonOverall we enjoyed our stay for a week/over July 4th. There is plenty of space in between sites.Wifi worked great.Super clean facilities. It seems that a large portion of the park is seasonal guests.Nicest park in the surrounding area.Manager was very nice.Only Con: We have a 40ft FW- they really need to escort the large rigs to their sites because their map is not geometrically correct plus there are lots of trees to maneuver thru with tight turns.
Jul 06, 2021 · Carol LacyWe had a blast at this beautiful campground. The sites are huge with stone fire pits and a picnic table. We drove in thinking we were driving into a neighborhood. It’s very close to town and only a short 35 minutes to Itasca. The kids loved the playground and riding bikes around the gravel roads. There is an outbuilding with a shower and gathering place with two arcade games, but we didn’t use them. We’d definitely come back.
