When searching for an RV park, whether for a short stop or a long-term residency, it's essential to have clear, unvarnished information to guide your decision. This article aims to provide a factual and comprehensive overview of Azle RV Park West, drawing specifically from the varied and, in some cases, extremely concerning experiences shared by its past and current residents. Our goal is to present these insights transparently, enabling you, as a local Texan, to make a truly informed choice about where to park your RV.
The experience at an RV park can range from delightful to distressing, and the public feedback regarding Azle RV Park West highlights significant disparities in resident experiences. While some RV parks pride themselves on cleanliness, hospitality, and well-maintained facilities, the reviews for this particular park paint a starkly different picture of what prospective residents might encounter. It's imperative to address these reported issues directly and factually, as they impact the safety, comfort, and general well-being of anyone considering staying here. Unlike promotional materials that highlight only the positives, our approach is to provide a balanced account based on the available public data, enabling you to weigh the potential benefits against documented concerns.
The customer reviews for Azle RV Park West are profoundly negative and raise serious alarms about the living conditions and management practices. One review describes the park as the "Most horrible place to live," detailing an experience where a potential resident was denied a chance, given only "45 min to find ride" to move an RV that had "came in over night," and was refused payment. This suggests an arbitrary and unaccommodating management style. This same review also highlights severe environmental issues, noting "standing water everywhere," a complete lack of "concrete at all," and "Storage buildings are falling down," concluding, "Not good place to stay."
Even more disturbingly, another review details what it describes as an "endless gathering of roaches" at a specific resident's site, explicitly mentioning "Ford diesels that they run 24/7" and "mounds of dog stuff in the yard." A critical concern is raised about the welfare of animals, specifically "three cats in cages that are small that they never let out," which are allegedly "constantly having food covered with roaches." The reviewer describes this as "so cruel" and believes the cats are "going through mental torture." Attempts to intervene were met with excuses that "the dogs will kill if they let out," despite observations that the cats receive no affection. This situation is so severe that it has reportedly "caused my camper and every one at the park next door roaches," creating "the biggest roach problem ever." The reviewer expresses a desperate plea for help for these animals and plans to post pictures. These highly alarming accounts suggest significant issues with park maintenance, animal welfare, and a general lack of a healthy living environment. Prospective residents should view these reports with extreme seriousness.
Azle RV Park West is located at 3190 TX-199, Springtown, TX 76082, USA. This address places the park directly on Texas State Highway 199, a major thoroughfare that connects Springtown with Fort Worth and other communities in the region. The direct highway frontage means that access to the park for RVs, which are often large and require easy maneuverability, should be straightforward. This location could initially appear convenient for travelers, as it avoids complex navigation through urban or residential areas.
Springtown itself is a town in Parker County, Texas, offering a blend of rural and suburban characteristics. It is situated approximately 20-30 miles northwest of downtown Fort Worth. For Texans, this distance typically means a drive of about 30 to 45 minutes to access the wider range of services, employment opportunities, retail options, and entertainment venues available in a major metropolitan area. While Springtown provides some local amenities, such as schools, basic grocery stores, and local businesses, residents often rely on Fort Worth for more comprehensive needs. The park's position on TX-199 facilitates this connection to Fort Worth and other surrounding towns.
However, accessibility is not solely about ease of travel. Based on customer reviews, the immediate environment around the park, despite its highway frontage, may present challenges. Reports of "standing water everywhere" and "no concrete at all" suggest potential issues with site conditions and drainage, which could impact ease of access and maneuverability within the park itself, particularly for larger RVs or during wet weather. While the general location is on a state highway, the internal accessibility and comfort within the park appear to be significantly compromised, according to the provided feedback.
Based on the extremely negative customer reviews provided, a detailed list of well-maintained and reliably offered services by Azle RV Park West cannot be factually presented as positive. Instead, the feedback indicates a severe deficiency in expected services and a concerning lack of maintenance. Therefore, this section will outline what services *might typically be expected* from an RV park of this nature, contrasted with the strong indicators from reviews that these are either poorly managed or entirely absent:
- RV Sites with Hookups: As an RV park, the fundamental service would be providing individual sites equipped with utility hookups (electricity, water, sewer). However, reviews mention "no concrete at all" and "standing water everywhere," which strongly suggests that the quality and functionality of these sites and their connections may be severely compromised.
- Maintenance and Upkeep: A core service of any RV park is the regular maintenance of grounds and facilities. Reviews explicitly state, "Storage buildings are falling down" and describe a significant "roach problem" affecting not only specific areas but also spreading to other campers. This indicates a severe failure in providing adequate maintenance and pest control services.
- Management and Customer Service: While management is a service in itself, the reviews depict it as highly problematic. One account details a "real horrible woman" who denied a chance to pay and forced a rapid departure, while another indicates an indifferent response from the owner to serious complaints ("Everyone needs a place to live"). This suggests that management is not providing supportive or professional service.
- Animal Welfare (Reported as Negligent): The park reportedly has cats kept in "small cages that they never let out" and whose food is "covered with roaches," indicating a severe lack of basic animal care, which would be a concerning absence of responsible animal welfare practices, if indeed these animals are under park responsibility or allowed to be kept in such conditions.
Given the alarming nature of the reviews, prospective residents should consider these accounts as direct indicators that standard RV park services may be severely lacking or poorly executed at Azle RV Park West. Direct and thorough investigation is strongly advised.
Based on the provided customer reviews, the "features" and "highlights" of Azle RV Park West are predominantly negative and raise serious concerns about the living conditions and overall environment. It is crucial to present these reported features directly and without embellishment:
- Severe Maintenance Neglect: A prominent feature highlighted is the extensive lack of property maintenance. Reviews describe "standing water everywhere," indicating poor drainage, and "Storage buildings are falling down," suggesting structural decay and unsafe conditions.
- Unsanitary Conditions and Pest Infestation: A critical feature is the reported "endless gathering of roaches," which allegedly affects multiple campers and constitutes "the biggest roach problem ever." This indicates a severe public health and sanitation issue within the park.
- Questionable Animal Welfare: A distressing feature is the alleged cruel treatment of animals, specifically "three cats in cages that are small that they never let out," whose food is reportedly "covered with roaches." This highlights a severe concern regarding animal well-being on the premises.
- Unprofessional and Unresponsive Management: A recurring feature is the highly negative interaction with management. Reports include denying opportunities to pay, giving unreasonable eviction notices ("45 min to find ride"), and indifference to serious complaints ("Everyone needs a place to live").
- Lack of Basic Infrastructure: The absence of proper infrastructure, such as "no concrete at all" at the sites, is noted, implying that sites may be uneven, muddy, or otherwise uncomfortable, especially for RV parking.
- Noise and Disturbances: The park is described by one reviewer as a "raceway" with "cars are in and out all hours of the night," directly contradicting any expectation of a quiet or peaceful environment.
- Safety Concerns: The presence of "needles that are being thrown out in the road" points to serious public safety hazards within the park.
These features, as reported by residents, represent significant detractions and should be considered as critical information by anyone contemplating a stay at Azle RV Park West. They suggest a living environment with severe deficiencies in safety, sanitation, and management.

Based on the provided and deeply concerning customer reviews, it is not possible to factually or professionally conclude that Azle RV Park West is suitable for locals in Texas, or indeed for anyone seeking a safe, habitable, or well-managed RV park. The overwhelming negative feedback points to severe deficiencies that directly contradict the basic expectations for a comfortable and respectful living or temporary stay environment.
Texans, like all citizens, deserve housing and accommodation options that meet fundamental standards of safety, sanitation, and professional management. The reports of "standing water everywhere," "falling down" storage buildings, a pervasive "roach problem" impacting multiple campers, and "needles... thrown out in the road" highlight grave concerns regarding public health and safety. Furthermore, the alleged cruel treatment of animals in cages and instances of highly unprofessional and unaccommodating management, including denying payment and issuing unreasonable demands, paint a picture of a facility that may not operate within acceptable standards of care or legal compliance regarding tenant rights.
While the park's location on TX-199 in Springtown might initially seem convenient for accessibility, the internal conditions as described in the reviews appear to negate any geographical advantage. For any Texan considering Azle RV Park West, it is imperative to exercise extreme caution. Prospective residents should conduct a thorough on-site inspection, ideally at different times of day, to personally verify the current conditions and atmosphere. It is strongly advised to seek legal counsel regarding tenant rights in Texas and to investigate all available information from multiple sources before making any commitment. Based purely on the provided feedback, Azle RV Park West appears to present significant and potentially hazardous living conditions that make it unsuitable for most individuals and families.

Mar 16, 2020 · Jacqueline MartinWithout a doubt this place has a endless gathering of roaches living were these two in the back live. They have Ford diesels that they run 24/7 and if your ever brave enough to look past the mounds of dog stuff in the yard they have three cats in cages that are small that they never let out and are constantly having food covered with roaches. It's so cruel I no for a fact they never let out. Two in cages do figure 8s all day and are obviously going through mental torture. Pleasesomeone that runs this place see this and tell them to let the cat's out. When asked they say the dogs will kill if they let out. But they don't love them or pet or anything. It has caused my camper and every one at the park next door roaches without a doubt the biggest roach problem ever. I'll post pics asap trust me. I need these animals helped. I can't believe the kinda of people that are living with so may bugs and want to subject cats to being covered like them in cages that are so small it makes a shelter seem like the better option without a doubt
Dec 15, 2024 · Lee R.V. OswaldMe and my parents stayed in this RV park years ago and had the worst experience in our lives. The owners of this RV park are very incompetent and mean people we had just moved to Azle and we’re waiting on the house. We were closing on and we stayed at this RV park. We were there one day and I was sitting outside my RV in the lawn chair with my little dogs on leashes sitting in the grass next to me when the owners came flying around in their little go kart, and of course my dogs are gonna bark at them because that’s something strange to them . They proceeded to stop him and his wife and come up to me and tell me we had to leave. I asked why by that time I had put the dogs away in the RV. The man started screaming at me and cussing at me, which pissed me off so an argument ensued then his wife came and jumped in on it too and then she physically kicked me while I’m trying to unhook my trailer so we can get the F out of there. These people are insane. I had to call the police. All I can say is do not stay at this place. These people are deranged .
Mar 17, 2024 · Ron GrandonI am a disabled widow taking care of adult disabled son. I moved in 2 wks ago, and was hand delivered a letter to be out by December 1st because my daughter who is my home health care provider spent 2 nights with me because I was very ill. She didn't take her ID to the office before hand. I thought she had but because she didn't in time we are out in the street no where to go or no way to go anywhere. Yeah real nice christian people. The manager very RUDE!
