Azalea Acres RV Park Reviews
Was a last minute reservation as we were driving from Texas to Florida over the Memorial Day holiday. Took reservation & payment over the phone and set us up for an easy access site. Was able to pull right in to the campground and right in to our site for the night. We arrived about an hour after closing but within 15 minutes of our arrival we were met by the host/owner/worker.Gave us the run down of the location including pointing out where the restrooms were (just cleaned prior to our arrival), dump station, and even let us know the water PSI. Super friendly.Would highly recommend not only for a longer term stay but a quick stop on your way. Only issue was that it is tucked a bit away so if you have a longer camper some of the turns may be a bit tight. Worked for our 28ft trailer.
May 29, 2025 · Teresa CoppesSpectacular RV park. HUGE sites with level concrete pad and lots of grass. Very quiet. Surrounded by trees. Fantastic bathrooms with extra large shower stalls, rain shower heads, never ending hot water and shower chairs. This is a very welcome stop on a long journey or a beautiful place to camp for awhile. We camped there overnight in a 40' Class A towing an SUV. No problem at all with site length - more than adequate. Highly recommend.
Apr 26, 2025 · Moonie StuffWe found this gem on Google - and it’s awesome! It’s just 1 1/2 miles off Interstate 10…. In beautiful treed acreage. We had wonderful service from our phone call to make a reservation ,to a man greeting us at the gate to show us our spot. While we only could stay one night - I’d recommend this lovely park ! There’s so much to see and do there, unfortunately we weren’t able to experience it. Very quiet because it’s just far enough away from the 10. Great long ,wide, cement sites !!
Jan 21, 2025 · Sylvia GillisThe park was super clean with onsite (paid) laundry. Picked up your trash every morning which was nice. When we pulled in they escorted us to our site and gave us the rundown of the park. Dog park and walking trails. We just stayed a week and was impressed. Kind of far from town though.
Jan 16, 2025 · Kathy ClarkeRude owners that will come into your camper without permission. Manager tried charging our card on 2 separate occasions for more than what was discussed. Then they booked another camper in our spot 4 days earlier than our designated time we were to depart. They didnt care that we paid for a month but shafted us 4 days sooner than we planned and was told to be out by 11am that day. They wanted to charge our card for electric before even telling us what the total bill was. Internet service went out the last 2 months we were there. The so called nature trails were not much of anything. Before you can stay, you must send pics of your camper for them to approve if it's good enough to stay there. We had our AC to go out in the middle of the summer and bought a window unit over the weekend as we waited for the part to come in that was on order. It was going to take a week We were told to take down the window unit immediately despite temperatures being way too hot that entire week. The manager is rude and doesn't abide by the landlord/tenant laws. I was shocked when the manager beat on my door then walked in before I could even get dressed and answer the door. No landlord has ever done this to me before and she found no issue with what she done. Plus when you agree to a set amount being taken off your card that amount is what supposed to be deducted. Instead she wanted to add an additional $120 to the amount stating it would be for the electric that wasn't even due for another week. She tells us we must pay electric on the 20th but online and in all paperwork, the bill is due on the 27th. They pull the meter on the 20th yet on the 17th she wanted to add an additional $120 on our card "estimating" the electric would come to that amount. She doesn't abide by her own rules set for the park and was very friendly to my husband while snubbing me and being plain out rude/disrespectful without even getting to know me. I held my tongue several occasions until I had enough of her attitude and straight up confronted her. My husband just so happen to pull up when this was going on and her attitude changed from bitchy to flirty in a snap. She turned to me apologizing then wanted to hug me. I was shocked at how quick she changed and was speechless. I did not enjoy my time there and will never go back or refer anyone to stay there. It's a small place and there are no potlucks or gatherings at the gazebo that the brochure and website states. There are full time residents living there but she doesn't allow any more to stay longer than 6 months at a time. They bash the other RV parks near them saying it's all drugs and bad news. Found out that is all a lie especially at Wilderness RV park where they have a pool and 2 fishing ponds plus a bathhouse and laundry area along with a place to clean fish and grill out. It's very nice and affordable. Azalea Acres is a joke and not worth the money or stress dealing with such unprofessional people. I should have had her arrested for trespassing when she walked in my camper uninvited and twice for attempted credit card theft when she tried to run my card for 100's more than what was agreed upon between us. She thinks she is above the law but one day karma will catch up with her.
