Applewood RV Resort by Rjourney Reviews
Was expecting something different, but the park is still nice. I was expecting a more modern and upgraded experience from the title "resort" and the price. The spot we had had half the hookups on the wrong side. Other than that the sites are wide enough for our rig and truck. The park is quiet and streets are wide so maneuvering was easy. It does have long term residents and some old RVs, but overall a nice park. They have new management that is trying to upgrade the park so we'll have to stop by again to see how it turns out.
May 26, 2025 · Stephanie HarmsThis is not a resort, so best to take it off the sign. Not many choices in the Denver area, so it was only for convenience. The owners need to make the long term residences keep their sites clean and tidy. No reason it should look like crap when you drive through. One truck had flashing lights on 24/7 on their roof. What a distraction. The rocks are hard on dog’s feet and the dog potty area is a joke. Glad there was a park next door but be prepared for lots of flying bugs at that park. Sorry but we won’t be staying there again.
May 26, 2025 · Jeff SolomonRight of I70 next to the TA truck stop. There's a King Soopers near, and basically anything else. Quiet park right next to a little lake and a good walking path. Is it paradise? Not exactly, but it's a great place to park and relax safely on your travels.
Jun 24, 2025 · Shane DelaneyGreat location, but very pricey for an RV park. Really price gouge you. Very close almost slide out to slide out. There’s issues like electrical pedestals shorting out and frying units. Then they reacted by saying well that happens. Electrical seems priced high for what you use. They can’t give an answer how much each KW hour costs. They’re very corporate. They’re all about well sorry I can’t help you …”corporate you know”. We had to leave due to an emergency. But we had to pay 2,000$ to leave because we didn’t give a proper 30 day notice and someone else moved in that night. I understand business is business, but it’s a little crazy how they won’t work with you. If you book month to month. Say your currently in spot 10 and spot 20 is open; they’ll book someone else in your spot 10 and make you move to spot 20 in the park. Rather having the new person coming in going to the open spot. Sad abuse of power. Very unsuitable to be in a position like that. Like that person who finally gets a say for the first time in their life and does things out of ill will or spite but says well sorry corporate said so. Even though they could be empathetic and understanding. I won’t be staying here again great area just sad the way it’s ran.
May 25, 2025 · Ben HulseUrban setting, no security, focused on long-termers. Not well kept up. Bathrooms clean but hot water was tepid at best. Office always closed. Small dog park, no one cleaned up. Convenient - just off highway. Super expensive ~$150 for full service site (with utilities on wrong side). Will not be returning.
