My wife and I resided here for a year. When we moved out, we had a final walk-through after spending days, making sure that the house was immaculate. This included us washing every single cabinet, every single drawer washing floors, steam cleaning the carpets in every room and so forth when we had our walk-through the person who gave it to us, it stated how clean our house was and how we were one of the better tenants that she’s seen. Yet they had the audacity to send me a bill for over $1200 for things like carpeting that I know personally was cleaned and met their standard prior to moving out. I would say out of that bill at least $600 in damages were not our fault but they spent the time to nickel and dime on everything even to go as far as to charge us $10 for a toilet seat. I have lived in many apartments in multiple states in my lifetime and this is by far the worst damage assessment I’ve ever received on a property. Personally, if you’re looking for a place to stay, save your money because whatever you give them in security deposit, you might as well just throw down the pipe because no matter how much effort you use to keep the place clean and maintained they’re still going to find every little tiny thing to bleed your dry.When we left that place was immaculate their own staff said so and yet we get no credit for doing all that extra work. If I would’ve known, that was the case, I should’ve just left it a mess instead of wasting my time effort money to ensure that I gave it back to better than it was given to me.
