Beyond its interstate access, Aiken RV Park is also remarkably close to the heart of Aiken itself. It's only about 10 minutes from historic downtown Aiken, a vibrant and quaint area known for its equestrian heritage, beautiful tree-lined streets, unique shops, and delightful restaurants. Aiken RV Park focuses on providing essential services that cater to the fundamental needs of RVers, ensuring a comfortable and functional stay. While it emphasizes practicality over luxury, the services offered are well-maintained and highly valued by guests:
Full Hookup Sites: The park provides full 30/50 amp hookup sites, including water and sewer connections. This is a crucial amenity for RVers, allowing for a self-contained and convenient stay.
Pull-Through Sites: Many sites are pull-through, which is especially beneficial for "big rigs" and those towing vehicles (toads), as it allows for easy parking and departure without needing to unhook. Guests have specifically noted the ability to "just pull off the road and park overnight without unhooking our toads."
Complimentary Wi-Fi: Free Wi-Fi is available, though some older reviews mention it can be spotty, newer information suggests complimentary Wi-Fi is a standard offering.
Well-Maintained Shower Facilities: The park offers shower facilities, ensuring guests have access to clean and warm bathing options, even if the facilities are described as older, they are generally clean.
On-site Laundry Facilities: For added convenience, especially for longer stays, the park provides laundry facilities. While one older review mentioned them being "torn apart" in 2018, more recent information indicates well-maintained laundry facilities are available and sometimes even free.
Pet-Friendly Policies: Aiken RV Park welcomes furry companions, understanding that many travelers bring their pets along. They ask that pets are kept clean and quiet, ensuring a pleasant environment for all.
Picnic Areas: Some sites and common areas include picnic tables, with some under constructed covers, providing a pleasant spot for outdoor meals.
Playground: For families traveling with children, a playground is available, allowing younger guests to burn off energy.

Exceptional Convenience for Travelers: Its proximity to I-20 (just one mile off Exit 22) makes it an ideal "overnight stop for travelers" who value ease of access and minimal detours, especially for big rigs.
Quiet Atmosphere: Despite being near a major highway, the park is described as "quiet," offering a peaceful environment for resting and relaxing.
Suitable for Big Rigs: The presence of spacious pull-through sites that can accommodate large RVs (e.g., 45' Class A pulling a Jeep) without requiring unhooking is a significant benefit for many travelers.
Value-Oriented Stay: Guests appreciate that the park provides "just what we needed" at a "great price," indicating it offers good value for its essential services.
Friendly and Helpful Management/Staff: Although not explicitly mentioned in all recent reviews, older reviews praise the "nice manager" and "awesome & helpful hosts" and a "very friendly man, who checked us in and made sure we were set up and comfortable." This suggests a generally positive staff interaction.
Proximity to Historic Downtown Aiken: Being only 10 minutes from downtown Aiken allows guests to easily explore the local charm, including shops, restaurants, and historical sites, adding a cultural dimension to their stay.

Aiken RV Park Reviews
Traveling with another couple in two big rigs. Was pleasantly surprised we could just pull off the road and park overnight without unhooking our toads. Full 50 am hookup. Quiet little park with mostly full timers and just a mile off the interstate. Nothing fancy but just what we needed. We would stay here again when traveling. 45' Class A pulling Jeep x's 2. 😊😊😊😊
Jun 20, 2025 · Lisa DavisWe had a blowout on our camper on the way to this park. The site we were lead to was very tight to our neighbor. We couldn't even fully extend our Awning, let alone think about sitting under that awing with their black tank drainage right there. The accommodation was adequate. Not much there other than a place to hook-up. Highly suggested to utilize the pull-thrus for overnighters. Not for more than a few nights if you have family or business local. The downtown area was extremely quaint and inviting. We found all if the necessary service to take care of our tire drama, and getting our pooch a much needed bath.
