Wooded Acre Campground Reviews
It's an old campground that is getting updates periodically. Away from any towns. Very quiet and peaceful. Would share it with friends. There is no septic hook up but will honey wagon. Or you can go to dump station.
May 13, 2023 · Paula Quenzer Ortiz DiazThe check-in process went smoothly. Not as many electric hookups for non 30a plugs ,but we did find one. Wish we could have stayed longer! Had a blast at cornhole tournament! Really nice people at affordable camping prices.
May 21, 2024 · Herbenero HelleThis is a good spot right off the NCIT if you are hiking or biking they only charge $5 so very affordable and Tony was very nice. Only negative is no bathroom or showers only porta potty
May 16, 2025 · Kousuke OginoWould not recommend this campground. Barely can get ahold of anyway.Paid for a site for 2 nights with Electricity. Was there for a friends wedding ceremony and reception. First night was fine. Second night came back early morning from a family outing and no electricity at all. Tried to flip the breaker multiple times. Only had two small fans going to circulate air in the tent. We packed up tent and all at 3 am in the morning. We were livid. Called the manager to let them know what happened. Want our money back for at least the second night. If not the whole experience. Manager is nice but the campground needs some updates. No bathrooms no showers. Everything is rundown. Will not be back again. Get what you pay for I guess.
Sep 15, 2024 · Jonathan FrakesWe decided to go camping last minute for Fathers Day weekend and everywhere else was booked. Seen quite a few negative reviews for this place so we were worried but still decided to give this place a shot because we really needed a vacation. I will admit, this place was lacking on amenities like shower houses/restroom facilities but we have camped primitive before and they still had the water and electric hook ups. We had an overall good experience. My husband loves to pick his own site and the lady, who registered us, had cut the grass on an entire empty lot so we could choose whatever spot suited us. From other reviews we thought this campground would be a party campground at night, but it was quiet and peaceful, we had not one single issue the whole 2 nights we stayed. The guy who owns the place also was super nice to us and it definitely made us feel comfortable. This is why we don't judge a book by a few negative reviews. I wish someone would invest in this place and family that owns it, it has so much potential. We are definitely willing to stay another weekend in the future.
