Wood River Campground

Campground ★4.0

Forest Rd 156, Ketchum, ID 83340, USA

4.0
Nice campground for just passing through for a night, for those who want to stick by the main road as a bit of a base camp, if you want to go to the nearby hiking, or when you need a more RV-friendly spot. In other words, it's not tucked in the middle of nowhere as is my preference, but it was still a very quiet and peaceful place. Road noise wasn't an issue. I’m not a huge fan of the concept of campground hosts, but the hosts were friendly and very dedicated to upkeep (the bathrooms were spotless, and cleaned daily). The bathrooms had running water, but it's not drinkable. Decent shade from the tall trees. There's some short walking trails in the area. No hookups. - Tony Webster
