★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I lucked out and got site #2 which happened to be the only site left on a Friday afternoon. One downside is this is a first come first serve campground. No water however there are vault toilets. They were very clean. Wood Camp is right off the road but the road noise isn't as bad as I expected. Campground sits down below the highway. The river is easily accessible with spots of shoreline to set up a chair & relax. Site #2 is a pull thru site which easily fit my tow vehicle & RPod trailer. Dog friendly! Picnic tables were all in great shape. Will hopefully be back again! Very affordable at only $20/night.
July 18 · Susan SchaeferEasily accessible, right on the river, many spots for tent, picnic tables and fire pits available! There is a dumpster. It's just a bit hidden on the right as you're leaving
December 23 · Eve DorshorstLove this spot! It's so beautiful and right on the river and lot's of shade! Also, camper/ trailer friendly.
August 08 · Jess BennettClean campground and clean bathrooms, good shade and the lovely sound of running water. Very nice access to hiking on the Jardine Juniper trail. We stayed May 13-15, and the campground host was very efficient and helpful. Definitely we would stay there again!
