Whittleton Campground Reviews
I honestly loved this spot. April took care of us and accommodated to our needs without even asking. She was one of the best campground personnel I’ve come across in awhile. Give her a raise. We had a group campout here and worked well with getting a few sites together even though there smaller. The Facilities were decently clean which always matters. It has two different trails within the campground that are awesome. Natural Bridge State Park is definitely a must do in Red River Gorge!
May 20, 2024 · MrDjdoughdIt's a typical state park campground, clean bathroom with showers, with a couple great trails right from the campground. Many sites backup to a creek.
Mar 17, 2025 · Mark SloneCampground good. Restrooms and showers absolutely disgusting and would not recommend based on this. Stayed site A7. Site was small but manageable. Fire ring was in a poor location relative to tent pad. Water at all primitive sites and as far as I could tell all primitive sites had level sites and paved parking spots. Firewood on site, overpriced at $8 per 4 pc bundle and not seasoned enough, difficult to burn. The restrooms were absolutely filthy and were not cleaned while we were there on our overnight stay. Mud, feces, and toilet paper all over the floors in the.mens side. Unacceptable.
Jun 06, 2025 · ShawnMy friends and I took 2 of my boys camping last week. It was a great spot. A little far from the bathroom but we did not mind the x hike. We plan to bring our Girl Scouts troop back this fall. ❤️❤️❤️ added bonus was the trails right on sight.
Jul 09, 2022 · Hair family FunNice little campground, check in staff were very friendly and nice and able to answer my questions about the area. Bathroom facilities were clean. I docked them a star because the sites are small, I do NOT recommend site A07, the site I pictured, it is a tiny spot on gravel the size of my tent and the next site over is right on top of you, I think it is the smallest site in the campground though but very disappointed they even have it as a site considered how small it is and all on gravel.
