Tara is a wonderful host. The camp sites are more isolated then usual camp grounds which we like. Running water was available to wash dishes and such. We were able to get out and paddle on the lake ever day. Tons of fish, birds turtles and wildlife. The horse back ride was awesome and want to go back for the longer ride. We did go down the road to shower at the state park and noticed how clean it was but also how close the camp sites were to each other there. We enjoyed going back to our isolated tent at Whistlin Pine Ranch. Thanks again Tara. - John Cornell

This places it at the South end of Alta Lake, a mere mile beyond Alta Lake State Park, offering convenient access to the lake's amenities while maintaining its own distinct, private feel. Pateros is a charming town located in the scenic Methow Valley, nestled at the confluence of the Methow and Columbia Rivers, and not far from the popular Lake Chelan area.

Accessibility to Whistlin' Pine Ranch is generally straightforward. Pateros is reachable via US-97, a major north-south highway in Washington.
