★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Stayed here for the first time this past weekend (6/9-6/11/2023). The site is awesome & lake view is gorgeous. Site we stayed in was very level with pull through pad & plenty of parking space (made it easy to set up the camper). Fantastic view of the lake. The only somewhat negative thing (not really negative … just feedback) might be that the shower house/restroom only has 2 shower stalls & 2 toilet stalls in the area we stayed in. (Of course, it’s not much of an issue when the majority of campers there probably have bathrooms in their campers, however there are visitors that are in tents or campers without restrooms, so it might make it inconvenient). Overall, it’s a great campground that we’ll definitely recommend & return to.
June 17 · Suzi HoffmanLove this place. I know some people really don't like how tight of a squeeze certain spots are. This place has a few first come first serve spots which is so nice to have due to many spots gets reserved 6 months prior !!! Some of us are so busy we don't even know what's next lol. This place is very friendly. Trash is picked up and emptied. Showers /bathrooms are clean. There is a playground. You have to kind of scope out the place to see what space looks good for you. Park rangers are nice. Beach is great ! This place is pretty chill. If you're looking for a party spot, this ain't it. Definitely family oriented. Alot of spots have shade ! Very important lol. They all pretty much have a fireplace.
May 30 · Jacey M.Corps of engineers regulations differ from park to park (should be consistent). Facility is nice. Cleaning of bathroom needs improvement. Park Ranger unprofessional. Park attendant hours on weekends is not in synch with visitation. Over all will never come here again. Even better, cost as much to add 1 tent as the entire campground site cost for a weekend. No receipt. What is going on here. What a rip off. Never camping at Pomme de Terra again. How do I know they didn't just pocket the money. Very poorly run. Get your act together.
August 31 · Andy cornforthOur family is full of avid campers, and year after year, we choose to come here at least twice. We love how level the sites are, the cleanliness of the shower houses, the amazing playground equipment, the beautiful wildlife, and most importantly the lake access!
