As a campground operated by Monroe County Parks, Webster Park Campgrounds typically follows a standardized fee structure for its sites and services. While they may not advertise seasonal "promotions" in the same way a private business might, there are often inherent values and potential opportunities for saving or enhanced experiences that New York residents can consider:
- Off-Peak Season Rates: Many county and state parks, including campgrounds, may offer slightly lower rates or greater availability during their off-peak seasons (e.g., late spring, early fall). For New Yorkers who are flexible with their travel dates, camping outside of the bustling summer months can lead to a more peaceful experience, often with pleasant weather, and potentially better pricing or less competition for desired sites. It's always advisable to check their booking portal or call for specifics on seasonal pricing.
- Extended Stay Discounts: While not explicitly stated in public reviews, some municipal campgrounds offer reduced rates for extended stays (e.g., weekly or monthly bookings). If you're planning a longer camping vacation, it's worth inquiring directly with the campground staff about any potential savings for longer durations.
- Monroe County Resident Benefits: Although not confirmed in the provided data, some county-run facilities occasionally offer preferential rates or early booking windows for local residents. It's a good practice for Monroe County residents to inquire if any such benefits apply to camping at Webster Park Campgrounds.
- Value of Included Amenities: The "promotional offer" often lies in the excellent value for money. With spacious sites, clean restrooms and showers, picnic tables, fire pits, and utility hookups (electric and water) all included in the standard fee, campers receive a comprehensive package. The exceptional staff further adds to this value, creating a very positive overall experience for the price.
- Proximity to Free Local Attractions: The campground's location near attractions like Ontario Beach Park, which offers free access, can be seen as an indirect "special offer." Campers can enjoy a beautiful lakeside experience or explore other parts of Webster Park without additional entry fees, maximizing their vacation budget.

Webster Park Campgrounds Reviews
Nice campground, but some of the sites have electric boxes 50 to 100 feet from where you park your camper. Call ahead to see if you need extra cord. Also bring a long water hose. Good size sites and some are very big. A lot of trees and wild shrubbery. The staff here is the nicest I've met in any campground.
Oct 21, 2024 · John RoneyVery nice and welcoming attendant. Check in was made very easy. I love my camping spot with picnic table, fire pit, and electric power. Restrooms and showers are nice and clean. I really like that is near several attractions. Ontario Beach Park is beautiful 😍 and near by.
Aug 05, 2024 · Sam FloresPretty basic campground with small spots. The playgrounds nearby offer the kids something to do and there’s hiking throughout Webster park but not much else going on with this campground. If you’re not from the area, check out the pier across the street.
Sep 26, 2024 · Matt MachiGreat campground, clean bathroom and showers. The sites were private a d quiet! Beautiful place to tent camp in October!
Oct 22, 2024 · Carrie SpencerWe stayed here for one night (July 4th) as a stop on a road trip. The campsites were large, had fire pits, and electricity. Genuinely couldn't be happier. When we checked in, we bought some firewood, and we were warned that it was wet. Which usually isn't a huge deal, I've started fires with wet wood before, but this wood was very wet and quite the challenge to get started.During our stay, the showers were closed without warning. We ended up stopping at Planet Fitness on our way out. Regardless, the bathrooms at the campground were clean and stocked with the necessary supplies. The location was okay. There's a trail (Ridge Trail) by the camp office that goes down to a park by the lake. Not really the best place to swim, but you can see the lake and walk out onto the pier.Overall, this was a nice place to stop for an overnight. I just wish the showers were working and the wood was dry.
