Walnut Grove Campground Reviews
I will never be back. Paid $45 to stay here 1 night for an electric hookup and lost electricity. It appears this place has restrooms, but I wouldn't use them. The toilet facing the camera was the women, and the men's restroom is the other toilet. They had porta-pottys there, but they were nasty.
Jun 22, 2025 · Lisa OlsonI stayed here for the eclipse and it was such a pleasant experience.A lot of the low-rated comments talk about it being trashy or a dump, which was worrying. But although there were people who lived there full time, I had absolutely no problems with it, nor did it feel like a dump or trashy. I loved it! It was a fun community. Those people leaving low comments are, in my opinion, a bit pretentious. If all you need is a place to stay, which is what you do when you’re camping, this is a wonderful choice! And the people living there full time are very kind and friendly. The owner, Jason, is extremely kind, fun, communicative, and extremely accommodating for my father’s CPAP machine, and the people who were living there were also extremely kind and friendly.People are people, and I loved the community. I’ll definitely stay again if I’m ever down there!
Apr 10, 2024 · Linnea MorrisWhere do I start man my weekend was amazing. First off it’s the kindest most fun community of people here I’ve never felt more welcomed and at home by people. Second off the owner is extremely kind and charges less than what you’ll pay ANYWHERE else. Third it’s beautiful land and there’s plenty to do. I will be back here every weekend of my life can’t wait to come back Friday it’s all I’ve thought about at work this week. If you want a place where you can make friends with some good people and have the best time ever then come here. P.S don’t take neon mikes spot he’s a legend here 😂 -Matthew

Jun 28, 2025 · Karen ReynoldsThe river is perfect for floating. I launch from campsite 1 and land around site 43. About 20 min trip. Perfect to repeat. No big investment of river time. Just right. And you do not need to leave Walnut Grove.
