Wakeda Campground, as a well-established and popular private campground in New Hampshire, offers a variety of rate structures that can provide value to campers, though specific "promotions" in the form of discounts might vary seasonally or not be broadly advertised. Their pricing model is transparent and available on their website, providing clear options for different types of stays.
Key aspects that serve as "offers" or value propositions include:
- Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Rates: Wakeda provides tiered pricing for various lengths of stay. Weekly rates offer a discount compared to daily rates (e.g., a 30 Amp Full Hookup site is $64 daily vs. $384 weekly, effectively one night free per week). Monthly rates are available for full hookup sites ($1,536.00 for 30/50 amp W/E/S), providing significant savings for extended stays.
- Seasonal Rates: For those looking for a longer-term summer home, Wakeda offers "Classic" and "Premium" seasonal rates (e.g., $4,150.00 for Classic for the May 15 - October 1 season), which is a substantial saving compared to booking daily or weekly for the entire season. This is particularly attractive to New Hampshire residents who want a consistent summer base.
- Family-Oriented Pricing: Base rates for sites are generally based on two adults and three children under 18, with clear additional charges for extra adults ($10.00 per night) or children ($4.00 per night). This transparent pricing helps families budget effectively.
- Minimum Stay Requirements: While not a promotion, awareness of their 3-night minimum for all holiday weekends and 2-night minimum on all other weekends in July and August helps in planning and budgeting for popular times.
It is always recommended for New Hampshire residents to visit Wakeda Campground's official website (wakedacampground.com) for the most up-to-date rate information, specific booking policies, and any potential limited-time offers that may be announced. Wakeda Campground Reviews
Our first time ever camping. We have an RV. This place is beautiful, super clean and the staff very friendly. Large but doesn't feel too big. Lots of areas to walk, beautiful clean dog park great facilities. Areas for tents, 5th wheelers, cabins etc. Definitely will go back
May 18, 2025 · Dawn LaughlinI recently had a 2 night stay at a tent site in Wakeda. Its an obviously well loved, well-kept campground. Heavy on the RV/seasonal crowd but enough space and tree cover to meet the needs of the traditional camper too.I am subtracting stars for a few reasons. For reference; I visited in a campervan. 1. The morning after our first night it was raining and predicted to do so all day, so rather than leave things out to sit in the rain all day, most of our things were in the van when we headed out for the day. A few things were left at the site. The site was pretty well picked over by the time we came back 🫤 The items left, thus the items taken were not of great value or significance... but it still sucks.2. In early june 2025 the entire campground, especially the more wooded areas and the E loop tent camping area are FULL of poison ivy. Its at the edge of the woods, growing up trees and poles between RV sites... if you know how to ID you will find it everywhere.Make your own assessments if you visit, but be aware that you can't leave anything at your site when you leave if you dont want it gone when you return. Also, dont let pets or kids or unaware adults anywhere near the foliage or you'll end up with Poison Ivy if youre one of the 3/4 of people who are allergic, like I.
Jun 02, 2025 · Jenna NunziataIt's a beautiful, quiet campground, everyone's friendly we definitely wanna come back
Jun 12, 2025 · Michelle HagarThis is a large campground. Lots of seasonal rigs but still some nice campsites for us weekend warriors. VERY quiet and peaceful. There is no main attraction like a lake or river in the campground, but the location gives you easy access to all the NH seacoast has to offer. For us, a perfect close weekend getaway and relax.
Sep 19, 2024 · Richard WhitneyThe property is really nice. It was clean and my kids enjoyed the mini golf. We stayed for one night in a cabin. We arrived very late at night and it was a bit challenging to find the cabin, even with the map. Everyone we encountered was friendly. My kids really liked the bunk beds. I realized that camping is not for me, unless it’s in an RV. I did not like that you had to pay for showers. Mainly because it’s a pain if you don’t have quarters on you. I thought it was a bit pricey for what it was. The following day we stayed at a budget motel which ended up being cheaper than the cabin.
