Visalia / Sequoia National Park KOA Journey Reviews
The location isn’t particularly scenic, but it’s conveniently close to downtown and Sequoia National Park. The staff is very attentive and welcoming, which made the stay more pleasant. Bathrooms are outdated but kept clean. One of the highlights is the spacious and well-maintained dog park—perfect if you're traveling with pets. The campground is quiet and feels safe, which is a big plus. However, be aware that there’s limited shade at most sites, so it can get quite sunny and hot during the day.
Jul 05, 2025 · We Are The ObserversGreat campground. Our 32’ class C RV and tow vehicle fit perfectly. Swimming pool was great. Also office and staff really nice too. Very easy check-in process. They have ice and propane and ton of other supplies. Thank you.
Jul 01, 2025 · Ben TosunerWe had a wonderful time camping here! Easy to find, staff was very friendly and welcoming. The grounds are taken care of and maintained. The pool was cool and refreshing. Would recommend to anyone, and would definitely stay again if we were in the area.
May 27, 2025 · Harmony EasleyThis is a nice place. Has everything I needed for overnight stay to see the Visalia Rawhide stadium and cross it off my MiLB stadium bucket list. Didn't try showers, laundry or pool since I was only a guest for 20 hours. KOAs are dependable like most chains. It will fit your needs nicely also. Met a couple of neighbors who were chill and enjoyed sharing RV stories. One was in a rental class C, 4 days into 5 wk trip, from the Netherlands, and seeing some family as well. Other couple from CO were on annual wk long trip to see parks & family, staying here for a week and repeat customers. That's an endorsement!
May 22, 2025 · John ElertJust no.The place is not great. Highlights are the laundry room and husband says the store is good. Why no? It's not a nice place. The biggest problem. The weird topless older white dude wandering from one side of the park to the next. Why?? And why did we have to be so close to him.Felt like a dog peeing on a hydrant to let us know he owned the place. I think he lived there in his old RV. Just no.
