Valley View Camp Introduce
Introduction / Overview
Valley View Camp, nestled in the scenic Nordic Valley of Utah, is a special kind of camping destination. Unlike a typical public campground, it is a facility primarily used for organized groups, as evidenced by its use for "girls camp." This unique focus means the camp is well-equipped to handle larger gatherings, offering a structured environment with a host of amenities designed to support group activities. The reviews from past campers highlight its many strengths, including ample shade, clean restrooms, and spacious pavilions, all of which contribute to a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
The camp’s location in the mountains provides a refreshing escape from the summer heat and a breathtaking backdrop for outdoor adventures. It's a place where groups can come together to bond, learn, and create lasting memories. The presence of a pool is a significant highlight, offering a fun and unique way to cool off and relax after a day of hiking and activities. While the terrain is noted for being steep, the overall experience is consistently described as great, proving that a little effort is well worth the reward of a high-quality camping facility.
Location and Accessibility
Valley View Camp is located in Nordic Valley, UT, with an address of 845G+PP, 84310, USA. This places it in the stunning mountain region of northern Utah, offering a fantastic retreat from the urban sprawl. The journey to the camp is part of the experience, taking you into a beautiful, wooded area. While the camp is tucked away, its accessibility is made easy by the availability of "on-site parking," as noted in the provided information. This feature is invaluable, especially for large groups with a lot of gear.
A key detail mentioned in the reviews is the camp's topography. It is built on a hillside, with a "steep hike from the bottom up to the top" where some of the main attractions like the pool and lodge are located. Valley View Camp Reviews
Great campground with lots of shade! We used this site for our stake's girls camp. The bathrooms are nice and the pavilions are clean and spacious. There were plenty of spots for tents too. Our group loved the pool that they have! It is a fairly steep hike from the bottom up to the top (where the pool, lodge, and other activities are). I walked from the bottom to the top using my Garmin and it's 0.3 miles with 160 feet of elevation gain. Our campsite was about halfway up, so it wasn't too bad. Overall, we had a great experience!
