Campground ★4.0

Luna, NM 87824, USA

4.0
Lovely little (free) campground in a mature Ponderosa Pine forest. One pit toilet, several fire rings and a few picnic tables. No water, no trash pickup. Very quiet, no road noise - the wind in the trees is the loudest sound. Except when cattle are wandering though (open range here.) Ranger drives through once a day to check things out. I was the only one here over three days in August ‘24. - Anna L. Conti
