Two Sons Floats & Camping Reviews
We took our new tubes out for their maiden voyage using the shuttle service at Two Sons. Everyone was wonderful, from the person who answered the phone, the nice woman who checked us in, the shuttle driver who took us to the drop point and gave us lots of great info, and sweet Angel the dog, we had the best time and can't wait to go back. It was a gorgeous drive down from Joplin and the river was perfect. We also really loved that we were offered the use of a mesh bag for our trash in case we brought any disposables, which is a thoughtful touch and shows respectful stewardship of the land. Check these folks out, you will not be sorry!
Jun 17, 2025 · Sondy MWhat a lovely park. Not the busy stupid "resorts" you see around Noel, but a quiet natural setting with none of the obnoxious hype. We were there for a Tuesday night in site #12 which had 30 amp and water, and lots of shade. We took the 8 mile float on Wednesday morning. The bathrooms were clean. The canoe was in good repair. The people were super nice. They say it does get real busy on the weekends, but if you go mid week you'll love it. Only 1 other camper was there besides us. It was a lovely get away!Only cons, if you want to call it that, is there is no way to grill outside unless you bring your own grill. I had to take the rack off my Coleman stove to put over the fire ring to grill the meat. There is no playground. And, you hear the highway noise pretty loud echoing off the rock bluffs.. I would stay here again though. This one is primitive, except with some electric and water, we really liked it, I hope they keep it like this.
Jun 06, 2024 · s “Meandmytruck” jSo so much fun! Will do it again next year.. This year was a little different though. The bathrooms were nasty. Cob webs, wasps was the least of our worries. There was a condom and dirty panties on the shower floor and it smelled like vomit. Dirty tampons hanging from trees by our campsite. It was a muddy muddy mess.
Jul 04, 2025 · Shila GrothVery clean and friendly. However the 4 mile float is really only 3 miles and the 8 mile float is only 6ish The gps don’t lie. Otherwise I’d give it 5 stars.
Jul 02, 2025 · Matthew LeeI've been going here for years. No need to waste your time with other campgrounds full of hateful people. They are always happy to have you here and super kind with a beautiful campground.
