Triple R Camping Resort and Trailer Sales, being a top-rated destination, primarily focuses on providing a high-quality experience rather than frequent, deep discounts. However, there are still several aspects that could be considered "promotions" or offers for New York locals:
Seasonal Sites: For those who want to make Triple R their regular summer getaway, seasonal sites are available. This offers the convenience and cost-effectiveness of having a dedicated spot all season long, which can be a significant saving compared to booking individual nights.
Group Booking Incentives: As highlighted by a reviewer, large groups (e.g., "group of 20 with 7 campers all coming together") often book multiple sites. While a "site lock" fee of $20 per site is mentioned, the ability to ensure proximity for a large gathering is a valuable "offer" for groups planning to stay together.
Value for Amenities: The resort offers an extensive list of amenities, including a water park, pool, hot tub, splash pad, jump pad, playground, stocked fishing pond, and planned activities. The pricing, even at average rates for cabins ($110/night + taxes and fees as of Memorial Day weekend 2025), represents significant value when considering the sheer number of included recreational options.
On-Site Convenience: The availability of a resort store with groceries, camping supplies, firewood, and ice, along with an onsite "restaurant" for pizza and other quick meals, adds a layer of convenience that can save guests time and money on off-site trips.
Events and Entertainment: The inclusion of "live band on Saturday and Sunday night" and other "events throughout the season" (like Chicken BBQs, Wine Tasting, Beer Tasting) adds value to the stay without necessarily being an extra charge.
Military Discount: Good Sam information suggests a "Military Discount" starting from $48/night, which would be a direct saving for eligible New York residents. It's always best to inquire directly about the terms and conditions of such discounts.
For New York locals planning a trip, it's always advisable to directly contact Triple R Camping Resort to inquire about current rates, seasonal specials, or specific group booking benefits, as these can vary.

Triple R Camping Resort and Trailer Sales Reviews
This campground was great! Some sites are a little hard to level out your camper since this campground is very hilly. The water park and pool were great, very clean. There are cabana areas to rent by the pool and slides as well as golf carts to use around the property. The play ground and jump pad were awesome for the kids. The pond is stocked well wish fish so bring your pole! Our group of 20 will definitely be back next year. Its unfortunate they charge a "site lock" fee of $20, when you have 7 campers all coming together, obviously we all will pay it to make sure we stick together. Definitely a "money grab" but thats my biggest complaint.
Jun 10, 2025 · Jenna KowtunStayed at Triple R Memorial Day weekend 2025 in a rustic cabin @ $110/night + taxes and fees. Average price for this type of accomodation.Pros - Very clean campground, friendly staff, lots of activities for kids (pool, splashpad, ot tub, water park, bounce pad, playground), had onsite "restaurant" where you could order pizza, chicken fingers, etc.... had a live band on Saturday and Sunday night. The cabin was small with double bed and a set of bunk beds, small fridge and full size coffee maker (surprise). THere was a nice front porch with a swing out front and each cabin had its own firepit.Cons: The cabin needed a good cleaning, the mattress and floors were a little dirty and there was mouse poop in the corner (NO mice were in the cabin). We cleaned this up and didnt think to mention it to the owners since its normal for this type of stuff to be in a cabin at the beginning of the seasonOverall a nice stay, the weather did not cooperate but we made the best of it. If you have kids under 10/12 this is a great place with a lot of activities for them. The people were all friendly (guests and workers).
May 28, 2025 · Diane MartoranaWe enjoyed our time here but agree with a previous review about the water slide height restriction. Weight is one thing but the fact that my 12 year old could go down the closed tunnel slide but couldn't go down the open slides that were bigger made absolutely no sense. We were also really disappointed with the splash pad hours. 12-4 gave us hardly anytime in there, especially when most young kids have nap time in the middle of that. Check in was 3–so by the time we unpacked we couldn't use it the first day, and checkout was 11, so we couldn't use it the last day either. Basically if you're coming for this, you get 4 hours (that's if you're lucky and your kids don't need breaks or naps or snacks). I would rather pay more for my stay and have that be open longer. It was the main reason we booked. I also found the pool temp to be way too warm considering it was 85 out. It wasn't refreshing at all which is another reason we would have rather been in the splash area. The owner made announcements a couple times and definitely could work on his professionalism. We also found the golf cart rentals odd and wish the rentals were during the day, not overnight when you can't use it. That being said– I do think this place is ran pretty well. We took a great hike that was beautiful. We also absolutely loved our creek side cabin and ultimately enjoyed our stay despite some disappoints– I just think some things could be revamped for an even better experience for everyone.
Jul 14, 2024 · Skylar BettsThis was a clean campground . We had a large concrete pad and not too close together. We stayed 3 nights . #510 was a tier up from pool . Our neighbors were wonderful and helped us as newbies. I would book again but for us as seniors maybe not on Sat night. They had a loud live band that most families would love but a bit much for us although 10 pm quiet was enforced. kids activities were plenty and well organized. There was a fishing pond. Camp owner was very helpful. Close to Ellicotesville. Very cute town.
Aug 02, 2024 · Chef JoWe booked this place last minute and weren’t sure what to expect. So glad we found this gem! The staff is accommodating, friendly and on point. The site was clean and well set up. When we got there we were escorted by staff to our site which eliminated the argument with the wife trying to find it. The kids enjoyed the park area and the splash pad (mini water park) as well as the pool and hot tub. Saturday night, campers were treated to unexpected live music! A pleasurable ending to our weekend stay. We will 100% be back!
