Tower Rock Campground Reviews
Solid little campground. Clean vault toilets. Nice host. $25 a night. No river access. Everyone had their dogs on leads within the campsites which i really appreciated.Gun shots can be heard pretty much every morning from the private property next door.
Jul 07, 2025 · E H (E)Host Michael kept grounds very clean and everyone in campground was very respectful of rules. Good for a quick stop if in the Giff. Only down side was the amount of gun shots that can be randomly heard throughout the day. I believe it was coming from the private property that is directly next to the camp site. Not pleasant to hear at night that's for sure.
Jul 08, 2025 · Maria Elena WieselmannThis is a beautiful area. This campground was almost eerily quiet this summer. It may have been because the main road was closed and we had to take a detour to get there. There is a private property next to the campground from which there was gunshots every morning which was a little unnerving for this Canadian.
Dec 31, 2024 · Jennifer SavageBeautiful space: tons of huge trees, beautiful sites and friendly hosts. It is a good idea to make reservations ahead of time, although there are some first come, first serve spots. The area is pretty isolated; this is great if you just want to camp with maybe one day trip. Also, check out the cave nearby! Just don't drive too far up the mountain or you'll get stuck.
Aug 10, 2018 · Corinna ChristmanGreat place super quiet and clean. Camp hosts were fantastic! Near Angel falls which is a steep hike but so worth it.
