Tohickon Family Campground Reviews
Just bought our first RV and chose this campground for our shakedown trip. The owners were nice and accommodating as we had a package delivered to the grounds. It was early in the season and they were working on improvements to the property. Bathrooms were clean. Year round Residents were friendly. The grounds were next to a creek and you need to drive through a covered bridge to get to it— pretty cool! Lots of things for the kids to do there in season: fish, kayak, pool, RC track, bounce house, game room, playground and other outdoor things. Real close to Nockamixon State Park which was so pretty with great trails to hiking and biking. Lots of history in the area. Definitely will be back for a longer stay
Mar 20, 2025 · Terran EndresenGreat family oriented campsite! Alot of things to do around the campsite cool activities on the weekends. Made my son's first camping experience awesome! He didnt wanna leave!
Jun 10, 2025 · William WilbyI’d wait to go till end of April. Things weren’t open and it was still very cold in the beginning of April. The sites can be improved as well. It was a nice location and close to town. Also a lot to do for kids.Near a large creek and a very nice country setting.
Apr 18, 2025 · Patrice MatzThe campground is OK, the staff VERY nice however the bathhouses needed to be updated and the store seems to be always closed. We will probably go to another campground in the area next time because of these 2 things and also it seems like lots of full time campers with large propane tanks on their sites, not very nice to look at.
Apr 19, 2025 · Linda Shields (The Jersey Shore Medium)This was our first time visiting this nearby campground for a weekend away and it really impressed us. It's clean, tons of activities for families and the service was great! We had a nice big campsite on the banks of a small creek that had a charming covered bridge crossing it adjacent to the campground. The seasonal campers were very friendly and if you have dogs, you will find yourself in good company. The only suggestion I would make is for the owners to use some of their common ground and convert it to a small dog park, since many of us travel with our canine companions. We are definitely going to visit again in the Spring of 2025, although, if you enjoy winter camping, they are full season hosts.
