Nestled in the heart of Central Oregon's breathtaking landscapes, Three Creek Meadow Campground & Horsecamp offers a premier destination that perfectly blends equestrian amenities with an unparalleled connection to nature. This specialized campground, located near Bend, is more than just a place to pitch a tent or park an RV; it’s a dedicated hub for horse enthusiasts and hikers alike, providing direct access to some of the region's most iconic trail systems. Imagine waking up to crisp mountain air, with your horse comfortably stabled nearby, ready to embark on an unforgettable adventure through old-growth forests and panoramic vistas. Three Creek Meadow offers exactly that – a harmonious blend of convenience, comfort, and direct access to the wild beauty of the Deschutes National Forest.
Three Creek Meadow Campground & Horsecamp is strategically located at NF-370, Bend, OR 97703, USA. This address places it squarely within the scenic Deschutes National Forest, offering a truly immersive outdoor experience. While the exact driving instructions will vary depending on your starting point in Oregon, access typically involves well-maintained forest service roads off major routes leading to the Bend area. Visitors should be aware that forest roads can sometimes be unpaved or gravel, and while generally accessible, can be more challenging for larger rigs, especially when backing into spots. One visitor noted that "Spots can be a little tricky to back into," so patience and careful maneuvering are advised for those with trailers or longer vehicles. However, the reward for the journey is immediate access to an extensive network of trails right from the campground. The location provides a fantastic vantage point for views of the Tam McArthur Rim and serves as a direct gateway to the East Fork, Metolius/Windigo, and Park Meadow Trail systems. This exceptional accessibility to a diverse range of trails makes it an undisputed favorite for both equestrians and avid hikers looking to explore the Central Oregon wilderness.

Three Creek Meadow Campground & Horsecamp Reviews
Good horse campground with pipe corrals. Instead of a locking gate they have chains that you hook on to the panel. Beautiful trails right from the campground. Spots can be a little tricky to back into.
Oct 06, 2024 · ShonnaLeeA nice open area to enjoy a view of the Tam McArthur Rim from below, or to begin a hike along the East Fork, Metolius/Windigo, or Park Meadow Trail systems.
Oct 24, 2017 · Styx AllumGorgeous setting, but a little rustic. So it is quiet even on a busy weekend in July
Jul 15, 2018 · John A Thomson, Jr.We camped here for only one night with our four kids under the age of 6. Sites are large and clean, the host does a great job keeping the bathrooms clean. There are lots of little creeks running along the meadow that were surprising not too cold. We fished at the lake not too far way and caught one! There is NO drinking water or cell service.
