Thousand Trails St. Clair Reviews
Bathrooms were gross, with a “no pooping in shower” sign in the bathhouse. Worse than a gas station bathroom. We didn’t have sewer and stayed 8 days, so we had to use it.Golf was good.Pool looked good, but wasn’t open yet.Basketball was okay.Volleyball looked okay.We had people smoking pot next to us, so joy!Our site was okay, overgrown grass coming through the rock. This could be really nice, but it’s not. We likely won’t stay again here, unless out of necessity. No issues with staff, they were nice.Gated, which is great…except we weren’t given a pin and had to call 4 numbers before someone answered to give us the pin. That was terrible.Close enough to Detroit and Port Huron, so location was fine. Interstate noise, but we expected that.Overall it just needs attention and elbow grease.
May 20, 2025 · steven parrettPretty good, lot of mosquitoes, but its pretty, quiet, friendly, eventful and has a good variety for everyone's needs when it comes to sleeping situations. Pretty cool, im not much of a camper so I truely enjoyed the experience just make sure you bring pants and bug spray, I only brought shorts and dresses and regretted it, my legs look like a crime scene, bug spray itself was not enough
Jul 04, 2025 · Biscuit _Easy access to I-94. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Site was level with a pull through.
Jun 20, 2025 · Ray SnyderVisited some friends at this campground. Pretty nice set up. The have spots for annuals and also open spots. Their rates are pretty reasonable.
May 29, 2025 · Lee CookBeautiful park that feels more like a tight knit community that you automatically become a part of just by showing up. People are extremely friendly and have fun activities every weekend! This place is AMAZING for kids, but it just a great for adults. Can’t say enough about this park. Only bad parts were: the sewage treatment pond does give off a pretty pungent odor and some of the RV spot are a little tight. It is big rig friendly, my only advice is take it slow if you not experienced, like myself.
