Thousand Trails Birch Bay Reviews
This place is a joke. The sites are set up so that odd numbered sites can’t access their doors or their hookups, when you backup to your site the doors to your trailer are less than 5’ from the trailer next to you. We have a short 5’ runner for our dog that hooks to our trailer and if we would have hooked him to it he would have been able to reach our neighbors trailer. And the water/sewer/electric is on the back of the wrong side to hook up, we have a pretty long hose and ours wouldn’t even reach to get our water hooked up not to mention everyone’s poop hose is hooked right next to the water (gross!) Even if you could get past this obstacle we would have had to set up any chairs, tables or cooking area on the back side where there are no doors and would have encroached the campsite on that side of us. I will give credit to staff, when we told them we weren’t going to stay they did try to find us another spot but by then we were just over it and couldn’t get over the idea of being that sardined in so close.

Jul 01, 2025 · B KRV sites are a bit muddy when it rains a lot. Buildings are clean and updated. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Leash free dog pen available. Not a lot of off leash options without a drive to the coast. Ocean around a mile away in two directions. Close to Bellingham for shopping, etc.
