Situated directly on the Blackfoot River, Thibodeau offers exceptional river access. The campground is about 18 miles northeast of Bonner, often accessed via the "Corridor Road" from Highway 200, east of Johnsrud Fishing Access Site. While the road leading in has been described as rocky and rough, this only adds to its secluded charm, ensuring it remains a peaceful retreat. Some sites even feature their own "little stair set down to the river," enhancing the intimate connection with the Blackfoot. This campground was awesome especially because most of the campsites overlooks the river! Just make sure to bring enough coffee or your little bro might get grumpy if he doesn’t have his caffeine fix

Jun 25, 2019 · Dan YarozeskiAwesome campground about 5 miles in on Johnsrud road off highway 200. It's small, with only 6 or so spaces, but there is plenty of room between sites. It's right on the Blackfoot River. There are bathrooms and a pump for drinking water. Beautiful spot, definitely recommended.
Aug 25, 2019 · Caleb KlausThe 5.5 mile drive in from the entrance took me about 30 minutes - it's a fairly rough road. Totally worth it!
