This is a small RV park area within the fairgrounds with only about 12 spaces with full hookups. I knew that going in and was so happy to have an affordable place at $50/night right on site for our volleyball tournament. Turns out we were at another facility in the tournament but decided to stay for the excitement and cost.Nicole was so amazing to work with as well as anyone you contact @thegrounds. Highly recommend and 5 stars for ease to reach a human, ease to book and when we modified a day, no charge and so easy. A true pleasure. You need to know this is not a destination RV park, unless you have business there or nearby. It would have been really hard to arrive or leave in the middle of the tournament with cars lined up to get in and tents up at the other RVs for players to come hang out. We thought it was cool as we were part of the tournament, just not playing there. If we thought we were camping, well it would be disappointing. That said, full hook ups very cool. Parking was a little harder as we were in space 2 with an oversized rig in space 1 and I pulled in to back into the space but the curb makes it hard even being tiny. Not as bad as the Disneyland RV parking, but a challenge pulling in and trying to make it around the really big guy. In retrospect, backup up to our space and then turning into the spot would have been so much better. The spots are 90 degrees backing in so just plan accordingly before you pull up and figure it out.Flying roaches, LOTS of them when you take the top off the sewer area. NOT in the sewers but they are trying to get there and will fly up at you when you lift the lid, so my drop in star.. beware. Otherwise non-eventful with the roaches, but there were like 30+ roaches we were spraying and just trying to make them run the other way.We would definitely stay here again if there was an event onsite. So cool to just be right there. We had no issue with the internet for streaming or working on laptop. Appreciate all the wonderful communication from staff and it was a nice stay for us.! - Elise S

@TheGrounds RV Park Introduce

For RV enthusiasts and event-goers in California, particularly in the greater Sacramento region, finding a convenient and affordable place to stay can make all the difference. @TheGrounds RV Park in Roseville, California, offers a unique solution, providing a practical and welcoming spot for those attending events at the sprawling @TheGrounds complex or exploring the vibrant Placer Valley. This isn't your sprawling resort-style campground, but what it lacks in sheer size, it more than makes up for in convenience, affordability, and exceptional service.

Located directly within the fairgrounds, @TheGrounds RV Park caters specifically to those who value being "right there" for the action. Whether you're in town for a competitive volleyball tournament, a bustling fair, a lively concert, or a specialized trade show, the ability to simply walk from your RV to the event center is an unparalleled advantage. It transforms a logistical challenge into a seamless and enjoyable experience, allowing you to maximize your time at the event and minimize travel stress.

While it’s essential to set expectations – this is not a "destination RV park" for traditional camping getaways – it excels at being an incredibly functional and friendly base. The dedicated staff, particularly individuals like Nicole, are consistently praised for their helpfulness, ease of communication, and flexibility, making the booking and modification process a "true pleasure." This commitment to guest satisfaction truly elevates the experience at @TheGrounds RV Park.

Location and Accessibility

@TheGrounds RV Park is ideally located at 700 Event Center Dr, Roseville, CA 95678, USA. This address places it squarely within the campus of @TheGrounds, a sprawling 60-acre facility known for hosting a wide array of events, from agricultural fairs and equestrian shows to large-scale sporting tournaments and concerts. This direct on-site location is arguably its biggest asset for event attendees.

Roseville itself is a vibrant city in Placer County, situated northeast of Sacramento. This strategic position offers excellent accessibility via major freeways, including Interstate 80, making it easy for RVers to reach from across California. From the Bay Area, Sacramento, or even coming down from the Sierra Nevada foothills, the drive to Roseville is straightforward.

The park’s on-site location at the fairgrounds means that once you've parked your RV, many attractions are within walking distance or a very short drive. Downtown Roseville, with its array of shops and restaurants, is easily accessible. Furthermore, the greater Placer Valley region boasts numerous recreational opportunities. While the RV park itself is event-focused, its location provides a convenient jumping-off point for exploring nearby attractions such as Folsom Lake State Recreation Area, Hidden Falls Regional Park, and even historic Old Town Sacramento, which is just a short drive away.

However, visitors should be mindful of events at The Grounds. During large-scale events, ingress and egress can be challenging due to vehicle lines and crowds. Planning your arrival and departure times around peak event hours is highly advisable to ensure a smooth experience.

Services Offered

@TheGrounds RV Park is designed to provide essential and convenient services for its guests, focusing on a hassle-free stay, especially for those attending events.

  • Full Hookup Sites: Each of the approximately 12 spaces at the RV park offers full hookups, including 30 and 50 amp electricity, water, and sewer connections. This ensures that RVers have all the necessary utilities for a comfortable stay.
  • Affordable Daily Rates: With a rate of approximately $50 per night (always confirm current pricing), it offers a very competitive and affordable option, particularly given its prime location directly on the event grounds.
  • Free Wi-Fi: The park provides free Wi-Fi. While some users have noted it can be slow or weak, making personal data a better option for streaming or heavy work, it is available for basic connectivity.
  • Pet-Friendly: The RV park is welcoming to pets, a significant advantage for travelers with furry companions. There's even a large grassy area behind the RV spaces for pets and children to enjoy.
  • Laundry Facilities: While not explicitly mentioned in all external snippets, larger fairground complexes often have laundry facilities available, or facilities are easily accessible nearby. (Always confirm directly with the park.)
  • Dedicated Customer Service: The park is highlighted for its excellent communication and easy-to-reach staff, making booking and modifications simple and stress-free.
  • Maximum Stay of 28 Days: This allows for both short-term event stays and slightly longer visits for those with extended business or leisure plans in the area.

  • Quiet Atmosphere (Despite Events): Despite being at an event center, the RV park itself is noted for being "very quiet," with "very little road noise." This indicates a thoughtful layout that allows for relaxation even amidst nearby activity.
  • Spacious Sites with Grassy Area: While the number of spaces is limited, the individual spots are described as "spacious," and the presence of a "large grassy area behind where the RVs park" is a bonus for kids and dogs.
  • Reliable Full Hookups: The availability of full hookups at every site ensures a comfortable and self-sufficient stay for RVers, regardless of their rig size.
  • Big-Rig Friendly Access (with planning): While some maneuvering challenges exist (e.g., 90-degree backing), the park can accommodate larger rigs, provided the driver plans their approach.
