The Lost Horizons Family Campground Reviews
Nice clean campground. We had a large site. Friendly staff!I also love the fact that they enforce the rules. I love the river but will not stay at a party park where you can't even sleep because of noise. This is my first time at Lost Horizons and we will definitely be back. I do hope when they get the chance they update their restrooms a little bit. The one I was in just has a little curtain and people coming in and out moving the curtain there's really not any privacy. I hope to someday see bathroom stalls. However that would certainly not stop me from going back. The maintenance guy cutting grass even helped my husband move the picnic table so I didn't have to. The garbage pick up at your site is amazing. I also like that campers are asked to wear a wristband so they can tell who their paying guests are. However I put mine on to loose and kept losing it over the 4 days I was there LOL I somehow managed to find it every time. The Junction is very nice.
Jul 02, 2024 · Christi AlbertWe camped for 3 nights and had a great time. Campgrounds is very clean and overall pretty quiet. The river is right behind the back of the main office and our dog & the kids loved playing in the water. They have a small restaurant in the main office and awesome I heard the ice cream is pretty good. The dump station had good water pressure to clean out. It's a little bit of a sharp turn when pulling out of the dump station area
Jun 30, 2024 · Sheila SimsThis camp ground was very accommodating and let us move sites because of flooding from the non stop rains. We will be coming back to take advantage of the location to do some canoeing
May 05, 2025 · Alex DoleThe best part about this campground is it's location along the river. We have stayed here before, under the old ownership, and now under the new ownership. The new owners filled in the pool and built a big new lodge building, however, the bathrooms need a lot of attention. The showers are completely unacceptable. 2 stalls for the entire campground, and if you want a shower with any water pressure or hot water, you will be out of luck. I had about 30 seconds of warm-ish water (no exaggeration). For the cost to camp here, there are better deals in the area.
Jul 26, 2024 · Kristen ShoupThis was our first season as seasonal campers and we had so much fun at Lost Horizons. The owners and staff are wonderful as well as the other seasonal campers. We have made life long friends and are so excited to continue making memories at Lost Horizons in the future.
