Terrace View Campsites Reviews
We love this campground! My family has been coming here for about 20 years and every year it’s as beautiful as the last. Lynn does a wonderful job keeping up the camp ground. It’s sad that there’s no other camp ground in Tomahawk but we are so happy that we have this Gem to come to. Thank you Lynn for all you do to provide a family friendly stay.
Jul 22, 2022 · USA TravelerAbsolutely love this place. The campsites are well kept and the view is just beautiful. Camped here an entire week from Florida. So peaceful and the owner Lin has everything you might need in the little store in the campground.

Jul 23, 2023 · Del-Lorie I Underhill-LeeI’ve been camping at Terrace view since I was in my mother’s womb. Religiously, annually, for**30 YEARS.**It’s a good place for kids to actually explore with their imaginations. Play/ get dirty, fish and swim in the lake.I’ve seen quite a few reviews lately saying the owner Linn is rude/“losing it”.. I just want to address this…coming from someone who’s known Linn since I was a baby. She’s a good woman. She has been like a second grandmother to me when we go camping, she’s always been a sweetheart.A few years back she lost her husband. I can only imagine how lonely she is and she has no family near by to notice that she may need some extra help. Her memory isn’t the greatest and she’s very protective of the campground.I know, it’s not ideal to deal with what some may consider a “kooky” older lady, and it can be frustrating..but she is compassionate and does have a really big heart. Please be kind and allow her some grace. Trust me, she really deserves it.🥺🩷
Jul 14, 2024 · Tori PutmanIf you are not a regular here, you will be immediately badgered by the old lady owner, Lin.We have camped at Terrace View several times with my wife and two little girls. A simple tent site and only used for sleeping at night. You would think something simple like that would not cause any confusion or arguments. But the owner is clearly senile as other reviewers have experienced.Other reviews with positive feedback on this issue clearly are seasonal campers who receive special treatment. If you have not been here, trust me, save the stress and find a different place.
