4.0
The trail starts easily with a paved walkway for about .2 miles. Then it changes into gravel which is crunchy but easy to walk on. There are a few stretches of very rocky trail. There is an outcropping of large boulders where people were enjoying the view. You will need agile footwork in some places. The falls were more like a cascading stream with many small pools. We saw tadpoles in one of the pools. It is peaceful to sit by the falls and listen to the babbling water. It seemed longer than 1.2 miles one way but the trail is mostly shaded by the canopy.
