Tall Pines Campground Reviews
We paid for 3 nights and when we got there someone was in our spot so they said they upgraded us. What a joke. The middle of the camping spot was the highest level so when we parked our camper we had to use the full length of the stabilizers and still not enough. We put boards under the wheels on the side that was low and still not enough. The pictures they show on the website are the best spots, most of them are so tiny to put a camper. Our camper is only 27'.When we checked out I wanted them to credit us for the other two nights and the owner would not. We did what we were suppose to do but they did NOT stand behind what they say their campground is. It is the worst consumer service and for a couple in our 50's it is the worst campsite I have ever been in. DON'T waste your money.
Jun 21, 2025 · Angela HelmWe booked here because our normal campground was full. We were camping with friends and paid the $10 lock in fee so we could be next to each other. When we arrived our spot was correct, but someone was in the spot our friends reserved (and received confirmation for that morning). Office staff tried to help but they could not get ahold of site management or owner. Also, multiple sites had power issues causing people to run cords to the site next to them. Our neighbor had an extension cord ran to our shore power causing our power to surge several times. Multiple other campers spoke to us and mentioned having similar issues with not having the spot they reserved despite paying the lock in fee and not receiving any help from management. When we went to the office to try and solve our issue, several spots had multiple reservations at once making things even more confusing for the person working. Even though the sites are decent and bathrooms are nice, we will not be booking here again due to poor management.
Jul 03, 2025 · Blair TomblinWow. 45 minutes after my wife posted a bad review the police show up to tell us we have to leave. I guess now it's illegal and grounds for eviction if you don't agree with a campgrounds policies and how they enforce them. This place is crap. Busted up roads, employees with nasty attitudes. An owner that will throw you out of you complain or try to let people know how dumpy the place is.
Jun 29, 2025 · Steve BlackIf you’re looking for a quiet, safe campground this is it. It’s rustic charm reminded me of summer camp when I was a kid. The contactless checkin was really nice.
Jun 20, 2025 · Alley EvansSent emails to check in. Rv Park. Slow time of year. I'm OK with that. But park was almost empty and they put us right next to a busy road. We have always stayed on down the back side, beautiful and quiet. Why if almost empty put us up by the busy loud road?
