Avoid Thousand Trails Tall Chief RV Park – Ongoing Electrical Issues & No AccountabilityI rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at Thousand Trails Tall Chief RV Park was frustrating enough that I feel compelled to warn others. The main issue? The electricity at this park is completely unreliable. From the moment I arrived, I experienced constant power shutoffs—so bad that I couldn’t even run my microwave without tripping something. Thinking it was a one-off, I moved to another site, only to face the exact same issue again.I spoke with several other campers, and to my surprise (and disappointment), they were all experiencing similar problems. It turns out this isn’t an isolated incident—it’s a well-known issue at Tall Chief. Unfortunately, the response from the staff and corporate has been to simply shuffle guests from one faulty site to another, rather than fix the root cause. It’s clear that corporate is unwilling to invest in real infrastructure upgrades. If you're a Thousand Trails member or thinking about staying here, I’d strongly recommend looking elsewhere—unless you're okay with unreliable power and being treated like a short-term inconvenience.Thousand Trails should be ashamed of the condition of this park. I have been all around the US visiting Thousand Trails parts never have I encountered this. Until they decide to take real action, I’d suggest future guests avoid Tall Chief RV Park altogether. - Colleen Hurlburt
