Table Rock State Park Campground Loop A Reviews
Large park with lots of activities. Hikes from easy to very difficult. Some hikes center around the streams with numerous small waterfalls. Camping area is clean and spacious. Bathrooms were very clean. Enjoyed my stay!!!
May 18, 2025 · Steve MihalichIt is an older state park, but well maintained, and the area is beautiful! We tent camp and our favorite site is 52 because it is has a lot of room with a flat area at the back for the tent. It is more private this most of the sites with some good trees to hang hammocks from. It is on a slop so if there was a lot of rain it might be messy but we had great weather. The general store was closed, I am assuming because it’s the off season, but the park headquarters is just across highway 11 and you can get some basic things there. We did the Table Rock Hike and it was beautiful! There are other hikes around as well. If you are there in the summer the like if beautiful and good for a swim. We will definitely be back!
Mar 14, 2025 · Luke SummerlinThe campground was really nice. Our spot was shaded but kind of muddy. I saw some spots have new gravel down. That would have been nice. The spot we had was really tight to get into but being on a mountain it is understandable. The only thing I didn't like about the bath house was there was no hook to hang my anything inside the shower (there is a stool) and the shower heads I can compare to a water hose mounted on the wall. Other than that, I love this place and we will definitely be back. Lots for kids to do.
May 28, 2024 · Marie GNice campground! We were there early Nov. 2022, #15. Alas, we had pretty marginal weather after our arrival and could not enjoy much of the hiking trails. We did walk the roads around the park, up past the Nature Center and around the lake.Site 15 was okay, we thought the best sites were 30, 36, 39, 47, 53.It's fairly remote so very spotty cell service, but wifi is offered at the general store. Bath house was clean but a little run down.We plan to be back, hopefully with better weather!
