★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This was a great camp spot! There are pit toilets for both campgrounds, picnic tables, fire pits, and huge campsites! There is even a specific campground for people with horses! The only bad part was how many flies there were but hey, it's the wilderness, right? There also was essentially no one else there camping so if you're trying to find a place to get away from people and relax in nature, this is a great spot!
September 30 · Gina MartinoGreat central area for exploring the Buckhorn Draw area. There is a developed equestrian campground that leads to many trails overlooking the Grand Canyon area in the lower Buckhorn and San Rafael Swell areas.
May 29 · Jared HansenIt’s a solid campground with river access in the middle of the Swell. It is centrally located, and from there you can get to many awesome Swell sites within an hour. The campsites are pretty good, and the toilets are fairly clean. You can even get some shade on the north side of the campground, under some cottonwood trees. The south side has no such shade, so watch out for that in the summer time. There are some mosquitos and other bugs in spring and summer, depending on runoff.
July 25 · Keaton ReedI almost didn’t leave this review as I don’t want to let Utah know how cool this place is…. I’ve been a few time camping in this location and it’s magical. I just love desert beauty and activities. You can stay at the small campground or there is open camping everywhere. Great place for overlanding, hiking, rock hounding, fossil hunting, off grid camping. My favorite part is I don’t get phone service and can detach and recharge.
June 14 · Cameron UrryOk but dusty due to constant ohv traffic, can be very hot and NO cell service. Only 15$/$7.50 nite, vault toilets, no water or trash.
