SutterCreek Campground

14831 Center Rd, Sterling, NY 13156, USA

4.0
Beautiful, well maintained, impressively made cabin K. My family and I rented the cabin for the weekend to ultimately join in the Renaissance Fair. The gounds are very nice, peaceful and tranquil. The stream runs right through your site which just solidifies the beautiful experience. I loved that the cabin had a private bathroom. All of the amenities of home which for some may not be considered "camping" but for myself and my family (which includes a 2 year old) it was exactly what we needed. We love the area, the hairy cows across the street and the gorgeous water feature. I can see us returning for future renaissance weekends! - Bailey Woodean

Promotions or Special Offers

SutterCreek Campground, being a privately owned and operated business, tends to offer value through its high-quality amenities, exceptional hospitality, and consistent programming rather than through frequent, widely advertised commercial "promotions." However, specific booking structures and the overall value provided can be considered "offers" for New York locals planning their stays.

While specific percentage discounts or flash sales are generally not detailed in public information, private campgrounds often provide:

  • Seasonal Rates: For New Yorkers looking to make SutterCreek their regular summer getaway, the campground likely offers competitive seasonal rates for RV or tent sites. This can provide significant savings compared to booking nightly for an extended period and fosters the strong community spirit noted in reviews.
  • Weekly/Monthly Discounts: Stays of a week or longer typically come with a reduced nightly rate compared to shorter stays, encouraging longer visits to fully enjoy the campground and local attractions.
  • Group Rates: If you're organizing a larger gathering, such as a family reunion or a group of friends attending the Renaissance Festival together, it's always worth inquiring directly with the campground about potential group discounts.
  • Off-Peak Season Rates: Rates are generally lower during the shoulder seasons (spring and fall, outside of major festival weekends) compared to the peak summer months. This can be an excellent opportunity to experience the campground's tranquility with fewer crowds and at a more economical price.

The value of staying at SutterCreek is also significantly enhanced by the inclusion of their "weekend activities," which are a highlight for many families and are part of the overall camping experience without additional per-event charges.
