Sunset Ridge Campground Reviews
Amazing place! Case and Sherri are awesome people! They are kind and always looking out for their residents! We checked into a cabin at about 11pm and Case met us and took us to our beautiful cabin! We were originally going to stay there for a week, but Case worked with us and we ended up staying the whole month for a very good price ! The campground is always quiet and peaceful! Case keeps the bathroom/shower house impeccably clean at all times! We walked the woods behind the campground and made it to the lake which was beautiful also. Case even made his service road accessable for our stroller to make it down to the lake! The cabin was very clean and spacious! All amenities included! Heat and air conditioning! We recommend this place 100% and we will most definitely be back!
Dec 02, 2017 · Toni Lyn ColemanWe have stored our camper and high dollar bass boat on our site for well over a year now. The campground host and owner keeps a very watchful eye over his facility and his customer's belongings. I have had zero issues with my boat, camper, and contents of either. Mike, the owner is very knowledgeable of the local fishing and hunting success...and very eager to keep me informed. The amenities are quite nice and always clean... and offered at a reasonable price as well. We frequent his campground almost every weekend throughout early spring to late fall making it our home away from home... just two minutes from a nice boat ramp on the lake. Fishing, and also hunting for deer, turkey, and wild hog is excellent nearby. I highly recommend this campground!
Apr 04, 2017 · edward weilerWe stayed just 2 nights but loved the place! We were greeted as soon as we pulled in by the owner and he was as friendly as could be! He came by a couple times to make sure everything was good and mentioned several times if we needed anything to holler! The campground is very clean! The lake is within walking distance down a trail from the park! Richard B Russell state park is 7 miles from the campground and the golf course in the park is an awesome course! Would recommend this RV park to anyone!
Apr 04, 2021 · Chuck ValeuMy 19 year old son and I needed a weekend get away to hunt, fish and chill out. We stayed in one of the cabins. This place was perfect for that. The owner and his son were very pleasant to talk with and help set up for our weekend fishing and hunting. The "night life" was exactly what we needed as well....quiet. We started a fire, cooked some hot dogs, showered and sat around chatting for hours. Very peaceful with a great sunset. The cabins were great and very comfortable. Bring your own linens! Washer and dryer available if needed. We will be frequenting Sunset Ridge in the next few weeks through the hunting season. Thanks Mike for a great weekend.
Sep 16, 2013 · Marc MorganCame here to visit with my sister who was from out of town and ended up staying the night. The owner and his son were great to talk to and learn of how the place was started. The cabins clean and perfect size and the bathrooms and shower building very clean.Quiet atmosphere and we did the normal roasting of marshmallows on the fire. Look forward to coming back for hunting season or to kick back again just to relax.
