Sunset Point Campground Reviews
I have camped all over Colorado, as a child, with my kids and now with my grandkids. This place is the best and my favorite by far. From day one Nadine, one of the camp host, went out of her way to be accommodating. She is friendly, professional and knowledgeable of the lake and surrounding areas. She made us feel welcomed and appreciated. The 2nd day we had the pleasure of meeting her husband Mike. Once again, he made us feel welcomed. They both handled a situation with another camper fairly, honestly and extremely professional. They truly care about the lake and campground and take passion in their duties as camp host. Even when it was so crowed and people trying to get by without following rules, the handled it with class. They are exactly what you want in a camp host and more. Thank you Mike and Nadine for exceeding our expectations.
Jul 06, 2025 · Carie PrinceI love this campsite so much! I make it a point to come back every summer at least once. The camp hosts are so sweet and keep it very clean. And the views are everything.
Jun 24, 2025 · Stephanie LedezmaFirst come, first serve set up. Our group up there first week of June 2025. Very rainy this year but was still a great time. The sites were level, minor adjustments in some spots, my 5th Wheel camper, no adjustments in spot 11.Restrooms clean, did not smell. Perhaps because it was chilly and early in the year but ever the less.I will, we will be back.Lots of trees around the sites, close to the water....
