Look no further than Sunset Landing RV Park in Lincoln City, OR. This small, highly-praised park, nestled directly on the Siletz River, offers a unique blend of peaceful riverside ambiance, essential amenities, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Whether you’re an RVer seeking full hookups or a tent camper desiring the convenience of electricity and water at your site, Sunset Landing is quickly becoming a favorite for those who experience its charm.
Sunset Landing RV Park is a true hidden gem on the Oregon Coast, known for its pristine condition and the exceptionally friendly couple who own and operate it. Visitors consistently rave about the cleanliness of the park, from the campsites themselves to the shared facilities like the shower and laundry room. This dedication to maintenance ensures a comfortable and inviting environment, making it feel less like a typical campground and more like a well-kept private retreat.
The park caters to both RV and tent campers, offering a variety of sites. While some RV sites come with full hookups (water, sewer, electricity), even the tent sites are equipped with valuable amenities like electrical outlets and water spigots – a rare and highly appreciated feature that eliminates the need for constant car charging. This thoughtful provision enhances the camping experience, especially for tent campers who often face limitations at other campgrounds.
One of the most appealing aspects of Sunset Landing is its direct access to the beautiful Siletz River. Campers can jump "right off the dock into the river," which is noted for being "beautifully warm," a delightful surprise for those accustomed to the often-chilly Oregon waters. The river offers fantastic opportunities for boating, kayaking, and fishing, with boat and kayak rentals conveniently available directly at the park. This makes it an ideal spot for water enthusiasts to launch their adventures without having to leave the campground.
Beyond the river, the park's tranquil setting is enriched by abundant wildlife. Reviewers recount spotting river otters popping up, and beautiful blue heron cranes in the mornings, adding to the natural charm. Even seagulls become friendly companions, demonstrating the relaxed atmosphere. While it is a "small park," it offers "plenty of room to move around" at the campsites, allowing for comfortable setups even with multiple tents. For Oregon locals, Sunset Landing RV Park truly embodies a perfect balance of comfort, convenience, and natural beauty, making it a place many return to year after year.
Sunset Landing RV Park is perfectly situated at 4274 Siletz Hwy, Lincoln City, OR 97367, USA. This prime location places it directly on the banks of the scenic Siletz River, just a short distance from the bustling heart of Lincoln City and the iconic Oregon Coast.
Accessibility to the park is straightforward and convenient. It is located approximately 4 miles east of Highway 101, along the Siletz Highway (Highway 229), at around milepost 4. This ensures easy access for RVs and other vehicles from the main coastal thoroughfare. While the park is described as "small" with a "narrow driveway" at the entrance, campers note that even larger RVs can navigate it, though unhitching a towed vehicle beforehand might be a wise precaution. The well-maintained roads leading to the park contribute to a smooth journey, setting the tone for a relaxing escape.
For Oregon locals, the park’s location offers the best of both worlds: the peaceful seclusion of a riverside retreat and immediate access to the vibrant attractions of Lincoln City. Within a short drive, campers can explore the expansive beaches of Lincoln City, renowned for their glass float hunting, kite flying, and beachcombing opportunities. Nearby popular spots include the Chinook Winds Casino Resort, Lincoln City Outlets for shopping, and various dining options. Other close attractions include Devil's Lake State Recreation Area and the historic Taft district of Lincoln City with its unique shops and art galleries.
The proximity to the Siletz River not only provides a beautiful backdrop but also serves as a gateway to water activities on the river itself, which flows into the Siletz Bay. This allows for diverse experiences, from tranquil river paddles to exploring the bay. This strategic location makes Sunset Landing RV Park an incredibly convenient and appealing option for Oregonians seeking a coastal adventure without compromising on peaceful surroundings.

Sunset Landing RV Park Reviews
Small park on the river. Little spendier than would normally pay. Only had electric and water and it was $70. Very friendly owner. They do have a singular shower laundry room.
Aug 14, 2023 · Rachelle GarciaWe did not want to leave!!!! This is one of the best camping spots I have been to in years and plan on going back a couple times every year from this point😀 it was the most beautiful area right on the river ...so well kept and clean. The couple that runs it was just sweet and helpful and never bothered us unless we needed them. You can buy wood to build a fire in the built-in fire pits ...you can buy ice so you don't have to run to town ...they have boat rentals ...they have kayak rentals and I'm sure of lot more that I didn't pay attention to. They have a beautiful large shower room with washer dryers to do laundry.... every little campsite has electrical outlets and a water spicket which you don't find at most campgrounds for people that are camping in tents. Even though we were in a tent it was really nice to have an electrical outlet to charge our phone so that it can stay charged in case we need it. Most Campgrounds we have to run our car and use our car chargers which is a pain in the you-know-what LOL. We had a great area ..had two large tents setup ...plenty of room to move around... jumped right off the dock into the river which was beautifully warm... there was no garbage anywhere it was the cleanest Camp spot I have seen. There are actually rv-ers that I think stay there year-round but everyone was friendly and their grandchildren delivered our wood to us ...it was the cutest thing! I hate to highly recommend this Camp spot to everyone because I just want to go there all the time and don't want it to be so packed LOL..... got to see wildlife we had two seagulls one we named chicken and the other nugget... river otters popping up here and there once in awhile and beautiful blue heron cranes in the morning time. Can't wait to return😀
Aug 06, 2017 · Donna TovreaGreat view, we had a wonderful time. Will tent camp again!!
Aug 09, 2017 · Steve RitchieWe found this place about 5-6 years ago one night trying to find a place to stay at the coast, they happened to have a cancellation and we were able to get that spot, been going at least once a year ever since, can't complain about too much, owners are very respectful, grounds are cleaned and maintained well beside it would be nice if they would cut down the grass that's right on the bank, I'm sure there is a reason it's not cut but it would be nicer for the view, other than that's we love it, and will actually be there next weekend for 2 nights
Aug 10, 2024 · Jay HessI'm currently living by Sacramento CA. But need to find a place for my 40 ft 5th wheel for 4-6 months and needing to do so between now and before August 3. My husband Shaggy speaks very highly of this place. Says every time he comes to visit our friend's mom that the property is always clean, quiet , and everyone seems to be respectful of each other and not in your business. Only thing is the cell phone reception or there isn't to great. But if you have the chance to stay at such a beautiful place why would you even want to have your face stuck in a phone all day. ..Is there any available spaces right now or around /before August 1?What's the price range for a 50 amp for monthly stays .Is electric included into the monthly space fee amount?
