This prime positioning makes it incredibly accessible for those traveling from across Missouri or beyond. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1The deluxe cabins were an excellent value for the money. We comfortably had 5 people in the cabin. They had a huge deck attached to the cabin with a table that could seat 6 people and then a gas fire pit with Adirondack chairs for 4. Additionally, there was a fire pit for wood in case you want to use that too. The pool was really large and actually had a good deep end, 8ft. The max drive we had to attractions in St Louis was 25 min and 6 flags was basically around the corner. This is definitely the place my family will stay if we come to stl for family stuff.
June 23 · AlexGreat proximity to six flags and the city of St. Louis. There are big beautiful American Sycamore trees around this campground. 🤩We really liked our tent location a lot. T22 right next to the lake. My son loved the pool.My only note is that I wish there were more bathrooms and there should really be soap&shampoo available in the showers.
May 26 · Brittani LongThe KOA is easily accessible and easy to find. It's located very close to Six Flags. We arrived after hours, and check in was super easy, always appreciated! We stayed in the caboose, and here are my thoughts.Pro: its a caboose!! It's very cute and the interior is done in a very cute and stylish retro design. The beds are neat and comfortable, ample light and plenty of blankets, pillows, etc. The bathroom was neat and clean, towels and toiletries provided, if you need them. There is a small deck and grill off the back that overlooks the playground. There is a train that goes by which is fun when staying in a caboose, and we didn't find it to be too loud or disturbing.Cons: the shower is VERY slippery, with no handrails or grip at the bottom. Getting out of the shower I slipped and twisted my knee pretty badly. The shower was slippery getting into and moving around in while showering. It doesn't feel safe at all, and should at least have a safety bar OR some form of mat on the bottom of the tub.The other con is really not anything the campground can do a lot about, but there were a lot of 'stink bugs' in the caboose. They are perfectly harmless but they were kind of everywhere. I am not sure what exactly could fix the issue other than some form of trap for them.Would I stay again? Heck yeah! It's a caboose! And it's a lovely location, the staff was very nice when we checked out in the morning. As KOA campgrounds go, it tracks with the usual standards and upkeep.I did tell someone about the shower and was told the information would be passed on.
April 25 · Angela LaVereWe spent four nights here while touring St Lewis. I felt very safe and comfortable here. They have washers for $1.75 and a quarter for the dryer that I did not get the time on, but probably 10 min. six washers and three dryers. they are very clean. The shower/bathroom is also very clean. There is a metal door that you can lock and a curtain between the changing area and the shower. I had hot water for the three times I showered here. Our site was level. I can see where some would need levelers. We stayed in B16. Most of the places we went to were only 30 minutes from the campgrounds. Walmart is 5 min away. The staff was wonderful at check in. I would not hesitate to stay here again. It's a lovely campground. They have cabins and delux cabins if you do not have a camper. It was a wonderful experience. There is a train track and we never heard a whistle close, but heard it in the distance. We live near tracks, so we enjoyed the noise. The traffic was a little louder at night, but a fan in the camper could drown that out. You know these things are here when you book the site, if the noise bothers you book elsewhere. they can't move the tracks and hwy for customers.
May 01 · Sharon CruseMy stay was fabulous. The staff were all extremely nice to me and when I asked for assistance, I got all the help I needed and more! I brought my pup with me and loved our little Camping Cabin. The dog playground was right next door to our cabin, which was definitely a plus! I'll be booking again very soon, and I might even spring for the Deluxe Cabin next time!
