St. Augustine Beach KOA Holiday Reviews
Nice property that was well maintained. Showers are top notch and kept super clean! Sites near the water have quite a bit of slope on one end and longer rigs will likely require some leveling blocks. The location provides easy access to the beach or a short drive to all of the many things to see and do in St Augustine. I do wish the gentleman that showed us to our site had made an effort to provide some guidance/assistance as the sites are narrow and we could have avoided the process of stopping…..get out to check…..reposition…..get out to check….etc. Not the end of the world but our KOA experiences around the country are typically much more positive/helpful.
Jul 05, 2025 · Kris HobsonSpent Memorial Weekend at this KOA campground in St. Augustine, FL. Really enjoyed our stay. The pet-friendly KOA campground is located within a nice walk (
May 27, 2025 · Brandi LoydThis is a beautiful, expensive campground. I would have loved it but for our site. The lower priced (?) back in sites are short and tight. And they back up to a strip mall and some billboards that stay lighted all night. If you are willing to spend more, the pull through sites are quite nice. There are two laundry rooms and two sets of showers/restrooms. The laundry was clean and had the great big dryers that get everything nicely dry. There is a catch and release pond complete with paddle boats, and a pool. The office has a good store. The location is great, a short drive or bike ride to the beach. The staff is very helpful and friendly and hard-working! The campground and facilities are very well maintained. In spite of our site, I did enjoy my stay here.
May 05, 2025 · JoAnne OwensBeen coming to this campground since my kids were little. Not much has changed. No improvements to the sites. Most sites are uneven front to back. Sights are super tight and not much attention to landscaping. The staff is friendly and the location is ok, but not much else. When I pulled in to site #39 i immediately noticed that the concrete patio was not going to be easy to get my steps to open up in a convenient location. I back my rig up as far as I could with out sticking out in to the road and I still have have of my steps hanging off the patio. Now I can't get my rig to level properly. The control pad says "excessive angle". I will stay here in the future because they always have availability, but not in site #39. All of this is first world problems, but after over 15 years of staying here it is crazy to think they have never made any upgrades to the sites.EDIT: I noticed today that the bath house (the most important part of any campground) is new, very clean and conveniently located. I will definitely be back. I will bring more leveling equipment with me on my next visit.
May 26, 2025 · Lee DavidsonWe camped here because we couldn’t get into Anastasia state park. It was a 2 1/2 mile bike ride down a busy highway to get to the beach. There’s a locals shortcut back in the campground which takes 1 1/2 miles off. I was excited to stay here because of the pool but it was very cold when I tested the water out. No swimming for me in that cold pool. The sites are tight but it was quiet at night. We didn’t take the trolly. It’s $40 ppl. We drove to fountain of youth. Free easy parking. Good attraction. The fort is small but parking there wasn’t bad either. Side of the rd for $3. The desk staff here is friendly. The others are indifferent.
