★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1The campground itself is awesome! We had a great site that was shaded and covered by large trees. The bathrooms were another story. My boys refused to use them as they were toilets over open holes in the ground. We were scheduled for two nights, but my boys, having never camped out before, were not impressed. They are great backyard campers, but I think that is because all maturity amenities.
July 19 · Jeremy BoneI have never done a google review but after my experience at this camp ground I felt it necessary. My family has been coming to this place for years and this was the best time we have ever had. First, the camp grounds were immaculate. We saw the host (Julie) the whole time we were there trimming back limbs, picking up trash, visiting with guests. She came and greeted us and gave us lots of information about trails and fishing spots and even brought back Smokey the Bear coloring books for our kids and talked to them about safe camp fires. She warned us of a rattlesnake in the area and we actually saw it down by the bridge mainly because we were looking. My wife and children were walking our dog and witnessed the host being screamed at by a man that had parked his vehicle blocking another site and the host was trying to tell him where the free parking area was. He made a huge scene and the host was obviously uncomfortable and embarrassed but handled herself so well. And that wasn’t the only time we witnessed people just being flat out nasty to her. I hope her company realizes what a GEM they have in this lady and keeps her around because we will be coming back just for her! We stayed in site 4 right on the river trail, had plenty of shade, a little road noise but not bad with how we had our camper parked.
July 14 · LewisThis campground is beautiful! We stayed at site #13 which was one of the most private campsites. The grounds are very well maintained and the host, Julie was a wealth of information. She was very friendly and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. She also had great recommendations for nearby places to stay and you could tell that she cares deeply about the environment. The campsite was very clean and she stopped by when we were checking out to ask how our stay was. The only negative thing about this campsite is the location which is close to the road and traffic noise is an issue. If you can get a site near the creek it will help buffer it!
July 14 · Cheryl CynarAfter having horrible luck with the original campground (friendship) we picked for our first time camping near Logan and having a near to impossible road to go down and uncleaned camp sites. Royce and Vi saved the day! They found us an amazing camp site at Spring Hollow and made sure that it was safe for my young kids to be in as well as made sure we felt comfortable. They are amazing! The campsite and bathroom was very clean, beautiful trails to walk and every campsite has access to a part of Logan river. Such an amazing experience we will definitely be coming back here as long as Royce and Vi are incharge!!!!
June 28 · Rebecca WilliamsonHad a big family group stay here. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Perfect location for our family event. River running through the camp for fishing and very cold swimming. Trailhead to wind caves about 1/2 mile down the road. Plenty of shade and flush toilets. 👍😁
