Smith Grove Campground Reviews
People were friendly. When I called they didn't have any pull throughs. Ok I asked for an easy in site. Oh my stars. Not at all. Put it between 2 dead trees. Nasty. Not sure how we're getting out. Hopefully it's easier then in. Bathroom was clean. You have to hold the shower water on. Ok. But there's no way to control the temperature. You start with a cold shower then it gets way to hot. Hope I got all the soap out of my hair. Burning my head trying. Nice looking pool and play ground. Even has disc golf.
Jun 07, 2025 · Vicki RelphWhat a beautiful hidden gem this place is. A great place to have good family fun. A place for the kids at the playground. There is a pool. Everyone is super friendly. Just a great place to relax. If you don’t have a camp they have campers to rent and a tent area too. A nice little store for all your needs and they have food you can purchase and an ice cream stand. Enjoy your time here.
Jul 06, 2024 · Brandy ReepNice campground with friendly workers that were so nice to help us out with a spot for the night while we were having truck problems. They were nice and waited for us to arrive later in the evening. Thank you for being so kind! They set us up with an easy pull through site. There are some nice nature trails there but we didnt have much time to check them out. I cant really say too much about the campground because we were only there one night. Thank you for a nice place to stay during a stressful situation!!
Aug 20, 2022 · Denise A MetzgarThe campground is very good. Jenny was very kind and courteous. The bathrooms are clean, the store is opened to 9pm, and there is good cellphone reception. The cabin has many electric outlets and a built in ceiling fan for those hot summer nights. Cabin #2 has 3 beds including a bunk bed. Bring your own pillow, sheets, and blankets. There is a fire pit and picnic table. The store is within walking distance and has good food and icecream. The front of the campground overlooks rolling hills of pasture, I saw a rainbow form in the sky as the sun was setting. There is a nice playground for kids and a gazebo with a table underneath. A hidden gem just a short drive outside of town. Very good. 5 stars.
