This campground is AMAZING! They're kind of off the beaten path, but yet centered around so much! There's a lake just about 2 miles down the road, about an hour or so from "Moose" attractions, and anything you'd want to do is a nice day trip away. (most "attractions" are under 2 hours.) They have super clean cabins and a very well maintained grounds. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. Always someone around to help. Great for kids too! They have a nice, clean pool area, a playground and weekend activities for young and old. A definite must to stay in Maine !!!
Jan 16, 2025 · Tammy ScullyDespite being just off a major road, you can absolutely disappear into a little slice of the wilderness at this camp or enjoy the creature comforts of a warm and comfortable community hub. It was a treat to enjoy memorial day weekend here with our pups in a spacious, cozy cabin. Was enough to make us converts to the KoA and sign up for a membership; hopefully we'll be back sooner than later. (:
Jun 04, 2025 · Ugly CoyoteGreat campground, great location. Great host that worked with me arriving late. Bathrooms very clean. Peaceful location.
Jun 06, 2025 · Jerry CookKOA is a laid back campground with plenty of room for campers. They also have small log cabins/rooms for rent if you don't have a camper or want to use a tent. They're very nice I might add. There's an arcade room, swimming pool and lots of other things for kids to do so they don't get bored. Prices are fair and the location is great. Not in town but yet not too far in the woods/out of town either. They also have a disc golf course you can play as well as go hiking or walks on the trails. Pet friendly I might add and very nice people.
